Okay, so, no money, languishing in the bottom three, no loan signings, just the one outfield player in, dwindling crowds, unpopular owners, only one win in 10 matches ......... but we just have avoided World War III, so big cheers and hoorah's all round.

Avoiding total annihilation in turn means that we get to live, football will continue, we won't be clinging on to survival in nuclear fall-out bunkers living off tinned food and Evian and hopefully City should still have a club.

Definitely rosier.

Thank you Sarah Palin for stepping down from the US presidential race. CCFC may be at it's lowest ebb but at least we'll still have a planet.

Ha ha. Until the last line I thought this story was related to the bomb shell found in Binley Woods lol.

Well Sarah Palin is a bomb waiting to happen, so you weren't far off.

That woman scares the life out of any rational thinking human being. Thing is, over there they love her and she would have almost certainly got in. Let's face it, George Bush got into power and the man is a fookin clown. Thank god we haven't got any clowns in power anywhere over here ............ :thinking about::thinking about::thinking about::thinking about:

Ohh fook it ...... Boris Johnson. :facepalm::facepalm::facepalm:

And Ken Dulieu. :facepalm::facepalm:

Anyway, anytime you feel despair about CCFC just be thankful you're still alive.

Sarah Palin may be out of the running, but her star has waned some what in the past couple of years ..... she just not right wing enough for the republican party ....

We really should be scared of Christine (I'm not a witch) O'Donnell ..... I wish I didn't find all these right wing republican women kind of attractive

Just be scared of war mongering Americans, the last to use nuclear weapons and certain to be the next.

Cos you're a slag?

When CCFC get me down I always try and think of something worse like nuclear war, famine, poverty, life-threatening diseases or Vernon Kay.

Nah, stepping down half-way through her Alaska Governeship blew her political credibility. She was never really in the race-just a popular public figure for the more insane end of the Republic vote. Bad news in a way as she'd have never have won-we'll just get a more organised Republican who knows what he's doing like Rick Perry.

Michele Bachmann is worse than Sarah Palin, and she might run for president.

So forget Sarah, forget Ken, forget Andy and the team and start building bunkers.....:facepalm:

I've heard from a very reliable source that Amanda Knox is thinking about running for president, and knowing the bloody Yanks she'll get in.
