A) The term "scab" being used against a fellow supporter. You may not agree with the move to Sixfields, I'm not sure anyone does but anyone who wants to go along to any game to support the same group of players they were supporting last season certainly shouldn't be berated for it. The situation isnt the fans fault and we certainly shouldn't be turning on each other.

B) overuse of the term "Trolling", person A says something person B doesn't agree with and is immediately branded a "Troll" for fucks sake is the art of debate long dead ? We should be able to enter discussions about any subject without being branded a "Troll" due to difference of opinion.

Sort it out folks, were all on the same side.

I'm neither of these names being thrown around on here, I am in fact a human.

A troll is a supernatural being in Norse mythology and Scandinavian folklore.

Scab, a hard coating on the skin formed during the wound healing reconstruction phase.

The other terms for these names were made from Human Nerds.

I don't like the arrogant notion that anyone planning to continue attending is 'killing' the club or a lesser fan, when it's essentially based on the hopeful guesswork that Sisu would be smoked out if denied of funds rather than just covering the deficit and piling more debt on.

Can we also add the terms SISU Rent Boy and WUM to this list.

I don't see a 1000 or so going to watch us at Northampton a big deal, if we filled it we would still be losing money. Gates will start about 4000 but once the novelty wanes gates of less than 2000 including away fans will be the norm.

I totally agree on both counts, who the fuck thought Edith Bowman was right for 6 music. Possibly the worst decision they have made since shunting Gideon Coe and getting George Lamb in [if you,ve been listening that long]

Is it not possible to Despise SISU but still support your club?? The beauty of being a human being is that you have your own mind and can agree with some parts of each sides argument and make your own informed opinion! You don't HAVE to be in one camp or the other!!!

And personally, I can see there being a few surprises when it comes to kick-off and a few more going to watch the team than expected.

Does anyone know how many users there are on this site? I would bet it would barely make up 10% of city's overall support!

And another thing..... how many of the NOPM and "I will never go to Sixfields" have stayed away from the club for the last 2/3 years?? The Same fans that fooked off on 70 mins against Crewe to the song of "We'll never see you again!!"

So you didn't notice that a large portion of the crowd flocked out at 70 mins at that game them?? How many of those would have been saying "Not going the Ricoh whilst SISU are in charge"

All I'm saying in that statement Lee is that I would bet that a large number of the fans who are adamant they wont go are the ones who have stayed away for quite a while so it wouldn't really make too much difference to the reduce in fans willing to go to Sixfields to watch the team. However, a good run and people will change their minds

come Christmas IF (and I know its a big if) City are in the top 8 or so, you could guarantee there would be a number of fans who would be changing their minds.

One is a number. one hundred is a number.

We always get lots more going to games when we do well. The question is the hard core fans. How many of these would go again? The ones replacing the hard core fans will disappear as quickly as they came to games.

The ground that we look like playing our home games at is small. We have enough season ticket holders presently to sell out. It shows how bad things are when the odds are we won't half fill a small stadium.

There are also many fans that would go to 'home' games if they could afford to. It don't matter how well we are doing. They still won't be able to go.

Finally, would you call it a good result if we managed to sell out in any games in such a small stadium? That would still be thousands less than an average home game where we have played before this coming season.

We are. Trouble is, under this guise of Sky Blue fans we are from all different walks of life, with different outlooks and different agendas.

You can ask for unity under the umbrella of us all being City fans, but amongst our hoardes you can be bound sure there are;

Thieves
Cheats
Racists
Tories
Lefties
Commies
Wife beaters
Paedophiles
Muggers
Buggers
Buggerers
Rapists
Bank robbers
Tax collectors
and the Welsh.

We are never going to all agree on anything in reality are we.

Before making such a pathetic comment can you let us know how many season ticket holders we had last season? The season before?

How many 'home' fans can we have in this small stadium nearly 35 miles from Cov?

Things pissing me off: fans who are high and mighty about how they are "continuing to support the club".

IMO if you support that abomination in Northampton, yes, you're not far short of being a scab. So shoot me for having that opinion.

And then there are some of us who are long-standing ST holders. That's the case with every single fan I know personally who won't go to Northampton.

Of course anybody is perfectly entitled to choose to go to Northampton to follow the team, as indeed supporters are entitled to refuse to follow the club outside its own City. However the evidence suggests that the vast majority of fans won't support the club leaving its own City. If indeed that proves to be the case, and only few hundred fans travel, then we possibly end up with the worst of all worlds. Not sufficient support to keep the club competitive, ie death by a thousand cuts, but enough support for SISU to carry on with their hare brained scheme. Low attendances leading to a massive cut in the playing budget, leading to a weaker team, more defeats, decent players looking to leave, and so the downward spiral continues. So unless the attendances did pick up which I very much doubt, the fans who do travel although well meaning, are probably prolonging the agony.

NLHWC - your missing the point, you have as much right not to go and watch us at Sixfields as I have to go and watch us, it's the "I'm right, your wrong" Scab name calling that's the problem, as you say it's down to personal opinion.

I've supported Coventry since the day I was born, had a season ticket from when I was 5 years old, bought every shirt home and away for the last 30 years, Cov are the first thing I think about when I get up and the last thing before I go to sleep. To suddenly tell me that continuing to support my club, the only thing I've ever known and calling me a Scab for doing so is way out of line. To cut CCFC out of my life regardless of if they are playing in Northampton or Norway would be like cutting off my left arm.

City Till I Die.

When I disagree passionately with something that is IMO encouraging-even vindicating-the disgraceful behaviour of our owners, I can't bring myself to say "well done you!".

I support Coventry City, not SISU. I support the Club, the Badge, the History. To tell me to drop all that I've ever known I simply can't do. Owners come and go, and when there's light at the end of the tunnel I'd still like to be able to walk around with my head held high thinking I supported my club through thick, thin and thinner

Dont Worry Cov, They'll all be back when City return like nothings happened and pledge that they will follow the club everywhere!

On a side note.... just done a bit of digging and it turns out that madaboutpies are the supplier to sixfields, I don't want to alarm people and cause any panic but it doesnt seem that they do a Chicken Balti one.... now THAT is an outrage!!!
