The thing I can't get over now is that someone's completely wasted a sandwich.
Especially as the police said the Wheatsheaf was designated for our fansSunderland thought they could bully Cov and it appears on both occasions they didn't. Young men full of testosterone and beer {and these days other shit } will act like chimpanzees in the mating season, it's a fact.
If someone actually threw a glass bottle or a full bottle of liquid then shame on them, it's plain cowardly. You're not going to hit a twat, you're more likely to hit an innocent.
Police/club and stewards got it all wrong for me. Away fans should not be above home fans in any ground without nets like in the Amsterdam arena or plenty of other grounds, bottles of anything should not have been sold and fans should have been cleared of missiles on entry.
I wonder why looking at the build up to this, home and away fans were let into that same pub { The Wheatsheaf } .
Things can be done properly, on my last two visits to Wembley with City I hardly saw an opposing fan until I took my seat.

It would be nice if all the nonsense among fans from this game was left in the past now, and we start concentrating on Friday and more specifically Monday. We've only sold 1,000 tickets. I know it's a bit of a pain in the arse with time of kick off, but it would be nice if people would be as willing to back the boys for this as they were to have a piss up in the toon.
Why do they do this? Throwing shite into the family stand below at Mum, Dads & Children its bloody disgraceful! some vile people in this world that are a complete waste of oxygen.
That statement from Sunderland is terrible. Even if you ignore the trouble they caused down here to completely absolve their fans of blame when there’s footage of their fans kicking off in a pub designated for CCFC fans by police and their fans throwing stuff at our players isn’t on.
Cheeky little digs in the statement by both clubs which were probably not needed and will make things worse next time we play them. Needs a line drawing under it. Find and arrest object throwers. Do the usual with the Rocky balboas and then leave it.

Not a single city fan gave a shit about them 10 years ago, and with the rise of social media, Facebook and Twitter it became plain that Sunderland hated us with a passion about a grudge from 30 years ago.
Everytime something bad happened to us they wish we went bust, wishing death on Jimmy hill and basically celebrating when he passed, then they threaten his statue and memorial guardian earlier in the season and then they cry wolf when they get a reaction
And what Sunderland fans said and done in the previous 10 years goes beyond the lines of normal 'banter' between sets of fans.

But not only was it the Sunderland fans, but Sunderland AFC itself stoking the fire on Saturday with an incredibly unprofessional tweet on Saturday when you are already aware there is animosity between supporters for the club to then encourage and support this animosity between supporters is nothing short of disgraceful and I have no doubt that the tweet from Sunderland AFC added to the crowd trouble which happened on Saturday. This individual who tweeted from the Sunderland official Twitter should be sacked immediately.
If they didn't want trouble, then why did they as a football club actively encourage and condone the animosity between the sets of fans with this inflammatory tweet?

I kind of agree, but clearly banter - I saw it and thought it was funny, I had a little nibble back in good nature too. Anyone who was triggered by that is clearly a little unstable and needs to have a quiet word with themselves.Maybe the Sunderland social media team could try and avoid posts like “kick off is at 3 Coventry “ next time we play , little remarks but just unnecessary sarcasm already adding fuel to the fire
I saw it and beat up 4 old women in rage. (just to confirm, I did whack them in the back of the head unexpectedly so there was no risk at one of them catching me back).
