And in other news, Princess Diana has been killed in a car crash.

British forces have retaken the Falkland islands.

And the miners union have started a national strike.

When we and my .mate started going to Scottish games at the beginning of the 90s we chose Raith as our team just because of that. Great little ground. Went loads of time. Used to go to QoS a lot too as it was the closest. We visited loads of lower league Scottish grounds over the years.

Here's a pic of the QoS team bus, circa 1992. Different world.

Food at Scottish grounds is an experience and dare I say better for beating the cold than what you get here. Nothing like a Scotch pie with melted lard on top.

It's a good job you produced pictorial evidence, I was struggling to place Question of Sport as a team to follow!

Dabo was my favourite Cov player for a few seasons. Hope he does well, but his footballing career does unfortunately seem to be fading out now.
Just too many injuries have taken their toll

Peak Dabo couldn't be beaten. Big fan of this guy not just as a player but a person too. Sat near him at the Man Utd game and he's as big a fan as we are.

Nothing but praise for Dabo. The guy just shone , on & off the pitch, the footballer & the person.
I did wonder if we didn't let him go a little too early ? He doesnt seemed to have recovered in a playing sense since he left. The way he left may have broken him. Certainly thought he was better than the move to Forest Green.

Chuffed to hear he might be one of those players who leaves but continues to "support" Coventry City.
