How would we all feel if we said bollox to ACL and played all our games away?
Season tickets refunded or exchanged for away tickets
Ridiculous I know, but it might spark something

Well as I can't justify going to away games with a small family and would therefore miss out on my favourite pastime of watching City live, I'd be pretty pissed off.

I understand. But it's a revolutionary idea
Us fans only need to buy one kit. ( away)
Change our name from sky blues to the gyppos
Sure we'd take 3 k to most games and it would get widespread coverage of our plight
An up yours to everyone

Obviously when it's our home game we take majority of the gate minus the running costs.

Yeah I'm sure we'd be allowed to do that.

Forgive me but why not? Imagine the other way round a club came to play us at ours as their home game we would bite their hands off at that deal. Especially if they make money on food etc ( we don't so no difference there)
They'd much prefer to play us at " home" I'm sure

Ticket sales pay the players wages, fact. Would we get 7,000 travelling to bury for a home game? No chance.

We don't need to if we take the gate money

Theoretically, what if we replaced the goalposts with magical lightning bolts that shocked opposing forwards?

Are you struggling to understand the simple concept. Or just trying to be funny?
Do I need to explain it again?

Ah another "quality" thread where we don't discuss thorn. I see what sky blue John means now there are so many more interesting things to discuss.

It's ridiculous, we can't play our home games away.

If we played all the games away it would give thorn the opportunity to crash into shaws car on the way. Surely a sackable offense??

I'm more than happy to discuss but youve yet to come up with a real viable reason as to why not

It may be ridiculous yes but it'd be a laugh and it might just bring us together.

What are the other options if we are forced out of the ricoh? Play at nuneaton? What's the capacity?
Play at blues? Whats the rent etc etc etc

Ok who pays the policing, who decides on segregation. Say we are at bramnal lane - are they restricted to the away end? Who gets money from the caterers and sponsors, which stewards administer the game - who pays them? What if a club says no I'm not doing it. Then what? What if a game is postponed who decidedly on the new fixture date?

No thanks I'd rather not bother.

Glad to be having some adult discussions at last though.

Sorry stevenage is 1.5 h away. Why wouldn't other clubs agree?
1) they will feel they have a better chance of winning
2) no travel expenses
3) not sure they'd have a choice if the fa ruled in favor

Their club are basically paying to keep us afloat, that's why they wouldn't agree to it.

Ok as I said we would take the gate receipts minus expenses
They would take all money's from catering etc ( no change there)

Postponement, mmmm dunno but I don't think that'd be a major hurdle

Right we play Sheff Utd away, the attendance is 15,435 there's 700 Cov fans there but we get all the gate reciepts? Think about it.
