KENNY Jackett admitted Millwall were somewhat fortunate to beat Coventry City at the Ricoh Arena on Tuesday evening.
The Lions boss conceded his side's performance did not compare to their recent displays, although he was naturally delighted to have picked up a fourth win in a row, courtesy of Shane Lowry's winner.
"Our goalkeeper was man of the match in my opinion, which tells its own story of the game," Jackett told the club's official site.
"Coventry created more chances than we did and I didn't feel we played as well as we have been doing. But having done the job [of staying up] on Saturday, it was always going to be a tough game.
"We did very, very well to scrap it out and win the game and once we scored, we had the better chances after that."
Stopper Maik Taylor's most decisive contribution of the evening was to deny Sky Blues midfielder Gary McSheffrey from the penalty spot, and Jackett thought that save was the game's turning point.
He said: "Their crowd and their players maybe lacked a little belief after the penalty save, which is understandable given the way things have been going for them. I'll take the win all day long and sometimes you have to scrap it out."
