A fair few contenders here but for me it's Burge. Hope I never see him between our sticks again!

Has to be Rafaele Nuzzo for me. Awful performance. Also special mention to Rafa Robles who we had about 8 maybe 10 years ago. Was warming up at every home and away game we played for around a 4 month period but he still didn't make the bench despite us not having a sub keeper a lot of the time. Very odd one that. Didn't look great in training either but seemed like a decent guy.

We had a keeper in the 70's called Ramsbottom who I never rated.I'm sure he was the keeper that let a really soft goal in on a night match verses Chelsea ? It got talked about for ages it was that bad.

Maybe not Trueskyblue but I think the many suggestion being put forward are worse? But we all have our own opinions I suppose. Sometimes a particular performance stays with us.

Lol I still don't think he dislikes his goalkeeping ability (or should I say lack of it) as much as I do. Notable mentions must go to Nuzzo and Debec, a close 2nd and 3rd!

I already have my right back lined up. Good thread Liam, look forward to compiling the worst ever XI!

Ernie Hunt.

Although he made a great save from Roger Kirkpatrick. Who else is old enough to remember that?

Nuzzo, But at least he had the decency to only appear about once.

Steele and Sheared were longer bad dreams; having been brought up on the, likes of Glazier, King, Blythe, Seeley and Oggy.

Yes it is sort of payback time from the fans.....But I do feel current squad members should be excluded from selection.

[h=1]Raffaele Nuzzo[/h]His only Coventry appearance was one to forget. It came in the League Cup against Tranmere Rovers as the second tier team trounced their Premier League opponents 5–1.

What a fuckin day and a half that was, long drive up from Essex to Tranmere, watching us not turn up and long trip back down, sure Nuzzo also wore tights that game, he was shite, not to blame for al the goals but Shite all the some.

Dunn for me. Absolute shite. I remember he came on for a second half and pulled of a decent save and people were raving on about him.

Still for me the reason we let in the goals in the second half of the JPT game.

When Kirkland was wrongly sent off early in the game at Chelsea, whoever took the gloves from him (Miller rings a bell) had a lousy game. Admittedly it was an in form Chelsea team who we lost 6-1 to, but the goalkeeping was not up to much that day once Chris was dispatched.

When Oggy went off injured, think it was at Millwall. Speedie went in goal and left one as it was going wide, except it wasn't going wide and was a goal!

Yes it was Miller on loan, Kirkland was playing well but a thrashing was inevitable sadly whether he was still on the pitch. Jimmy Floyd murdered us that day and we missed the city goal as we left early for a pint at 6-0!!

Kirkland had made a good save early on and I don't think it would have been quite such a bad kicking if the ref had seen the incident and not sent him off.
Went for a big drink afterwards to drown the sorrows and numb the pain.

Didn't our goal come from Hadji nicking the ball off Ed de Goey who was doing keepy uppies with it??

Definitely Debec. Have a look for the goal he conceded against Bradford away. I still wake up screaming when I remember it.
