Anyone else watched it a hundred times already?

It was football poetry, the sound of the ball hitting the back of the net, the eruption of noise, the absolute carnage in the stands, the scenes on the touchline, the sea of sky blue, against the backdrop of Robins return

For me it's absolute football heritage

Unbelievable finish for a centre back and pandemonium in the stands. Similar to Fadz Vs Forest first season back at CBS.
Poetic as you say for us to score in what was once Robins time.

Penny for the thoughts of those who left in a huff at 2-2.

I was within 10ft of the dugout …. The players and staff genuinely looked shocked at the noise and scenes in the crowd.

What a finish by Bobby like Saddlebrains I’ve watched it back so many times. I’m gutted because there’s a fantastic video on X which shows the whole of the East Stand and Singers Corner go absolutely mental, limbs everywhere. It’s from near enough pitch side, I can’t find it now. Enjoy your Sunday everyone! PUSB

Many thanks PUSB1, much appreciated! There’s another video, which is more at pitch side level and covers up to block 20. I’ll keep searching

Although Thomas Asante got stick for losing the ball, leading to their opener, he did well shielding the ball and laying it off neatly to Grimes, in the lead up to the winner. Credit where it's due.

Video that Tweet's from, you get to hear them being taunted too. For the proper schadenfreude experience, you can also
hear them giving it loads just before their ultimate heartbreak. From about 14 mins.

Put similar in the match thread, but top 10 celebrations for me.

Did it a little differently yesterday and had a box with a few school mates, half of whom aren’t Cov fans. But every single one of them was going as mental as me when he scored.

It’s a bit of a blur in reality, just pure elation and emotion as soon as it hit the net!

Madness!

Our seats are above the stairway. What makes goals sweeter is looking down seeing loads of people rush up the stairs pissed because they've missed a goal.

This gathering on the stairs towards FT for a swift exit has to, HAS TO, be nipped in the bud. It was so dangerous.

From the Sky footage when the winner goes in, the camera shows Robins sat in the dugout, and he looks up to the stands and it’s almost as if he had a little smile.

I thought that too. Almost like inside he knew that feeling and what it must be like.

The noise I thought was incredible on the winner and I have the battle scars all down my shins to prove it . Everyone around me hugged eachother which we never do.

Found it quite funny that he referred to "Bobby" coming inside for the winner, dunno why it's just unusual to hear such familiarity

Yeah. We have to stand up as people just stand in front of us on the steps. Annoying and dangerous.

I find it bizarre that people don't stay in their own seat until the final whistle.

Stewards this season have been pretty hot on it in 16/15, during the game. But they all flood pitch side near the end leaving it for a free for all. Mine is an aisle seat and my foot was being danced on it seemed. My nail has gone black

The commentary is excellent. He allows a solid 10 seconds of crowd noise and emotion before jumping in.

Yep
Memories are sometimes what we’re left with when other things have gone
My lad goes to uni next season and he’s the last of my 3 to do so. His face and reaction at the winner was great to see
I’m got my eldest coming with me so don’t have too much sympathy but these joint memories are the ties that bind
Was a very emotional ending to the game
The goal
The celebration
The robins song
The amount of people staying to applaud the team
Football heritage indeed

Gary Weaver is a way better commentator than anyone Sky have on premier league coverage

Hes my favourite commentator tbh, and I'm sure a lot on here will agree

Also, unpopular opinion but I like Lee Hendries punditry

Watching it again now for about the tenth time since getting home yesterday afternoon.

I watch from 85 mins and the Stoke equaliser, the pain and then the joy. Incredible scenes.

Love Frank's passion too celebrating with the players.

At the 11th hour I couldn’t make this one - the boy was ill. I had mixed feelings watching him ‘haji wright knee slide’ across the living room floor when the winner went in.

What's incredible is that when most of us grew up watching this club, moments like yesterday happened once every 4 or 5 years. Now they happen 4 or 5 times a season.

In my lifetime (I'm 40 this year) there has never been a better time to support the club. It doesn't matter what division you're in, wins breed positivity and grow the fanbase.

I think we're more or less guaranteed a top half finish this year, so I can say this with confidence. In the last 10 seasons, we've finished in the top half 8 times. That is the sort of consistency that grows the fanbase and changes its belief in football.
That is why the place is now overrun with kids, and kids that genuinely want to be there.

How it used to be was that if you saw anyone under the age of 15 in the ground, they looked bored stiff and were only there because they were too young to be left at home alone
