I mean hydrogen is really just an electricity storage medium like batteries so if electricity costs more so will hydrogen.

I’d hope if we can get out of our own way we’d have cheap abundant energy.

I used to have abundant energy when I was younger. Now I am more like a half-paced, sleepy old sloth.

Is that a misspell? You're talking about EVO, right?

Sometimes I do push all his wrong buttons and he goes off on a bit of a rant, yes.

I have probably misread your unclear original intent, par for the course given your ususal lack of clarity in related matters.

If it's going on the road, why not just use the bus? I get that these are driverless but the main thing about getting the tram in Nottingham for example is that it goes "off road" and cuts the travel time.

If you are putting this on Ansty Road to get out to Walsgrave Hospital then what's the actual benefit?

£12m that they have quoted to get from the Station to Puma Way (which is literally a stones throw) is madness, how much will it cost to get out to the hospital?

Whaaaaat? If you constantly delay and fuck around with a fledgling industry it can’t support a supply chain? I’m shocked!

They probably based their plans around the thing being open by now.

Reading this it looks like it’s separate from the Cov stuff actually. Just for the initial testing.

Depends how the midlands rail investment stuff shakes out I guess. For all the moaning about reeves one good thing she’s done is move this type of spending outside of fiscal rules so it’s less likely to be cut because the bond markets dipped 0.01% overnight.

Isn't that the second company CCC wanted to give contracts to that has gone bust.

Council respond after tech company where CVLR was tested enters administration

It's 'absolutely business as usual' for Coventry Very Light Rail and plans will go on as before city chief said

Why would they give contracts to the test company when they’re testing it themselves now?

I think the concept is excellent, would give Cov an edge in a new form of transport, however getting people out of their cars will be the main issue. Being from out of town but happy to use public transport a lot we are always amazed at how empty the ordinary buses are but how busy the roads are with cars with a single driver in them
