I see this is turning into a shitfest.

If you want to buy a ST buy one. If you don't then don't. Everyone has their own reasons. But nobody has the right to have a go at anyone who doesn't agree.

Just curious, how many games would you pay for individually before you reach the price of a season ticket?

Early bird £13 a game, non early bird £15 a game. No ST £20-£22 a game. I am a fair weather supporter me and thousands of others. If they show some real investment in the side they will get me paying at premium! Why should I invest if they won't ??

Remember when everyone was panicking they wouldn't get a ticket for Wembley?

Now the reality of L2 football has set in, NOPM is conveniently back in existence.

Plus the main point here; less ST sales does not mean they will walk away, it just means they will give even less funds to the football club. The objective is to break even, it doesn't matter what league that happens in or the consequences of doing so.

SISU have gone about ST pricing and communication all wrong, but if you don't want a ticket because we are being relegated and/or other reason, then fine that's everyone's prerogative. Done make yourself out to be a martyr or dismiss those who still choose to support the team.

The uptake on season tickets will be poor, people buy them on value over a season and will continue to do so as a financial choice those supporters will continue to purchase this way. The club has an issue with those of us who want regime change who will pick and choose their games, only if MR puts product on the pitch will things change but you reap what you sew and thats down to Sisu and their financial policies.

So you'd have got one if they'd reduced the price - by how much?

When you read this website it appears the buy a season ticket or not is about 60/40 not to buy, but get into the real world I believe it's around 80/20 not to buy. I haven't had a season ticket for years since Highfield Road but go to most games missed half a dozen this season. There are 7 season ticket holders I'm my immediate family 5 adults 2 juniors, none are renewing. We sit with mates in block 16 none of them are renewing, there's 6 at work 4 aren't 1is 1 not decided but I think will. None read this website or any other as far as I know. That's the reality I believe if sisu or even just Fisher left all will renew, when we talk ccfc all have the similar opinion that Tim Fisher couldn't lie straight in bed, he's a main problem here pathetically tries to hide behind not being part of sisu and if our owner has half a brain and remotely interested she would dispense with him immediately.

You and I and everyone else has freedom of choice that's what a democracy is, people all do different things in their lives
Me I choose to support the team of my choice because I want to, I may not agree with the things going on at 'my club' but it won't stop me choosing where I spend my money and my free time just because I think shitsu and Fisher are cunts, I also don't feel the inclination to try and ram my reasons for wanting or not wanting to do in my life down other people's life's either

And it's not just about those renewing, it's about getting new customers, that's how businesses prosper. I doubt there will be more than a fanny full of new season ticket holders next season. There might be a few youngsters with dads on the back of their fantastic Wembley experience taking advantage of the free offer to under thirteen year olds but that'll be it. This is a business being run by an incompetent fool, God help us !!

But you can support your club can't you, pay match by match. That way you support your club but don't put advanced money into the coffers of shitsu as you describe them and Fisher in your words both cunts !

Put money into ccfc to get a cheaper price for the season, if somebody is going to go to all games why would they pay more and have the hassle of ordering every week? Your argument is floored, season ticket money to sisu but match by match isn't?

Does this include those who won't buy unless they can see that we won't have another season like this one?

I know it is a concept you struggle with but many people get a season ticket because they simply support Coventry City and want to watch their team. I don't go for a social occasion; I don't drink with mates. I go with my Dad and son to do something we enjoy doing despite the results.

The only bollocks here is your analysis of the average supporter. You're not going, I get that, but don't nail your hatred on to other people.

It's not conscription to be a City fan.
It has to be something you enjoy.
I simply don't any more.
That's why I went to Wembley.

Other than supporting CCFC we all go for different reasons.

Years ago when I lived in Coventry I hardly ever missed a game. Home games were easy to get to. Start off in the city centre or Hillfields. Get smashed with mates. Go to game at HR. Always a good laugh whatever the result. Away games were travel to where you were playing with mates while having a drink. Hit the pubs where you were playing. Have a great day and then usually get it ruined by losing. So drown your sorrows on the way home. But still have a good laugh.

We still went because of the football though. We could have just sat in the pub all day.

Yes, same here. I've not been to a game since the beginning of January and it is killing me, I would have given anything to watch every defeat and poor performance I missed. It's nothing to do with being a "superfan", just a supporter. Of course, attending games is different for other fans for all sorts of reasons, but I really don't think people who are going to still attend next season should be vilified by others.

If we had 8000 season tickets do you think Sisu are going to spend the money? I think it will only write off a little of what they spunked away and keep the gravy train going a little longer.
No thanks.
Its a choice we all have to make and consider.

This is just it, what NOPM fails to understand is SISU aren't going to spend any of their own money anyway.

They will make the club spend what it makes... less money in, less money out and all that.

I'm buying a season ticket because I am supporting the club financially, not SISU.. I don't expect them to invest their own money.

I'd rather the club live under its own means rather than rely on an owner or loans, it's what got us here in the first place

Well it is supporting the club financially, the club survives on pretty much ticket money.

The point I'm trying to make my ticket money directly affects the budget, we're pretty much living off sponsorship, goodwill and the fans

Whatever we buy as fans goes to running the club
