Almost certainly sisu will be the preferred bidder for ltd. That is clear.

So next week normal service will be resumed.

If the club really want to build a new ground them so be it. However there is no doubt that if they played at the Ricoh prior to construction this is the ideal solution for all concerned. It also makes it likely the ground will never be built.

Do the trust talk to ACL? Can they confirm the door is open for discussion and can they get a printed statement in time for Mondays meeting?

I think it's needed.

Completely agree.

It would also put a bit of pressure on Fisher/SISU in the PR war. Continuing to put the message, "we are open to negotiation", out in the public forum gives them something of the high ground.

I would add something extra to this though and say that the Council also need to come to the party. Their stubbornness (no matter how much I understand their position, and no matter my feelings toward SISU, that is what they have shown) does nobody any favours.

SBT have already offered to "Broker a meeting" between ACL and SISU.....and they were roundly "Slagged off"....(Unfairly imo) by a number of posters on here.

Yes I do (i never slagged them off for that) and I also think that if sisu are still here and they manage to broker a deal to play at ACL that the trust should encourage fans to stop the #notonepennymore stance.

The Trust are and will continue to talk to all parties. On Thursday we asked Fisher twice would he meet with ACL, and both times he avoided saying yes or no.

We have many battles, the first being to keep the CIty in Coventry.

The FL rules means they must have a ground for the whole season... though there is room for dispensations

13.9 Subject to any dispensations granted by the Board, a Club shall either own its ground or have a legally enforceable agreement with its ground's owner for its use by the Club, expiring not earlier than the end of the current Season.

If that were the case it should set alarm bells ringing at FL headquarters as it just doesn't sound cogent or give the type of guarantees required ,sounds like lets see how long ACL last ,then either ACL either go tits or SISU quit.

Steve It should really have been the Medias remit to publicise the Papers submitted in the Judicial Review and given TF seems to have virtually referred to it on a daily basis ,Has the TRUST purchased a copy ,apparently Its only £30 and TF advised us to get a copy at the SCG meeting.

Hell must have frozen over as I'm agreeing with you A Trust board member as stated above did say in the first meeting that they had ACL signed up for a meeting next week and would CCFC/SISU be there too? Tim ducked and dived almost as well as Oggy in not saying the actual word "no" but the gist of his answer was no. Probably didn't actually want to use the word "no" so that people couldn't hold him to it later on.

I will rephrase it - if sisa come out of this admin process as owners of the football club the trust should do all they can to get ACL and Sisu into talks.

If Sisu are in charge and we are still at the Ricoh, the trust should discourage nopm because the trust is supposed to stand for what's best for the club, and starving it of income is only going to harm it. If we aren't at the Ricoh them fair enough,

Acl are talking to Ltd ie the administrator because thats where everybody thinks thats where the GS is. If they talk to holdings then there is a doubt where the GS is. In my opinion thats why there are no talks and there wont be untill its finally decided who has the option to use the GS. Dont know why they are waiting because if its in limited they will have to talk to Sisu if its in holdings they will have to talk to ? Yes Sisu

The SBT "claims" to be democratic and represent its members. The members have spoken. NOW Stupot demanding that they DEFY their OWN membership, and get back in bed with sisu IF they fail to get them out!

HOW is this moral or ethical? If you are NOT prepared to stand up for what you believe in, then you shouldn't really be standing up.

SINCE WHEN did the trust become a political party? Are there members happy that they will simply sway with the wind rather than do what they BELIEVE in?

Did they in ANY of their literature say they will say they will take a vote and then go AGAINST that vote?

I appreciate the clique WILL inevitably try and cosy up to whoever comes out on top, but how can tey then argue they have the best intertests of even their own members yet alone the fans (which by the way they most definitely DO NOT represent!)

When a fan group no longer takes actions based on what they BELIEVE is the best way, but the most successful waty, then they have failed then membership.

You do not follow a club like ccfc because you expect success, yopu support it because it is YOUR club! If you want to follow a path just to be successful, then join Man U! You support CCFC because you have a passion for the club.

Swaying with the breeze like this betrays this notion. It is distasteful, it is morally cowardly, and well is standard practice for the clique (otherwise why are they STILL trying to get involved with sisu when their membership voted 99% to have NOTHING to do with them?)

These are questions the cliques CAN NEVER answer, because by answering they will show just how duplicitous they have become.

And is the very reason why so many people have become utterly disillusioned with their two-faced approach.

You take a principle stand, and you stick with it! You might win, you mighty lose, but you stand by your principles!

Otherwise how can you claim NOT to be as bad as sisu? SiSU at least are standing by THEIR principles - looking after #1. What Principles have the clique stood to?

Why would ACL allow a future competitor to use their stadium until they build their own stadium which would then possibly put them out of business?

If it does affect financial viability it makes more sense to agree a short term deal to low ACL a time frame to secure a new tenant.

How would ACL survive without CCFC?
No new tenant exist that could utilise such a big stadium.
People should STOP entertaining TF reference a new stadium. It's what he wants and it is bluff to stress ACL.

No whatever happens ACL needs to merge with the club. Otherwise the outlook is bleak. I suspect any new investor will be no more forgiving than sisu regarding ACL.

Given that sisu will almost certainly be the preferred bidder we need to establish will ACL contemplate a 3 year deal. It's an important question - ACL's "feelings" are certainly of no importance.

Well i'm off to France for 6 days, I miss the most important week of the clubs life, that's my bad luck as I won't have internet where i'm going as its really bloody rural.
I hope and pray that when I get back we have new owners, if not that's me finished with home games in Walsall or where ever. I will keep in touch via the missus whose staying behind but I won't get all the juicy bits until next Saturday.

I will keep everything crossed, and say a word to the big man upstairs, Good luck Coventry City football club, you will need it if these incompetants stay
