Alright.

So a record of 43% in a low division like we are in now is good enough? Just over 4 wins out of 10? 12 points every 10 games.

You have omitted draws. By including the points gained from draws, Ince averages 1.5 points per game, or 15 points for every 10 games across his managerial career.

In Div3 you need to win in excess of 70% just to scrape into the playoffs.

Wildly inaccurate. The average win rate for the sixth-placed team in L1 over the past decade has been 44.6%.

FWIW, I agree that Ince's record is far from watertight. His stats are mostly carried by one terrific season in L2.

Paul Ince?

Please no. Let this not be true.:facepalm:

He started off brilliantly in management at Macclesfield but then it has been a bit of a slippery slope for him since.

Okay, so it's Wiki, but 'During Ince's second spell the Dons were less successful, primarily due to negative tactics and many panic buys during transfer windows.' Then there is the 9 defeats in a row for Notts County.

He's not been very well liked the last few tenures and for me after starting well has been a bit found out.

No not Ince! Terrible manager. I know someone @ Dons when he was there. He lost intrest would not turn up to training so his coaches would do everything for him he would only turn up on match days and I'm sure there was one time he never turned up to that. He won't move closer he used to stay in thr hotel when ever he did stay in mk.

Terrible choice will lose intrest when things don't go his way!

So what you lot are looking for is a manager who has never failed, with experience and who is happy to work in division 3? Good luck

Because even if we are a club in dire straights the fans have got to have slight ambition

Totally convinced SISU are not looking for a new manager. They are hoping Shaw will pull off a couple of results and then they add to his salary slightly. He gets the job.
I assume they have to pay AT for the test of the season.
If he does get the results. Which i expect he should with this squad for me I still wont know if he is any good till next season. After he has had a summer to bring players in.
I like shaw with any manager now I will support them fully. However i will find it hard to judge their success.

1.5 points a game average with draws? Only 69 points for a 46 game season. Only good enough for a mid table finish. 90 points was good enough for 3rd last season.
