I won't spoil it for you, but if you've not seen it then it's a must watch on Netflix. Best thingon there for months imo.

Yes it's very good , but never ever going to be as good as Happy Valley, which is also on Netflix of course !

Currently watching and quite enjoying. Got to suspend all belief as the plot so far (watched 5 episodes) is the daftest I’ve seen in ages.

I thought it was up there.

Although that scene on Happy Valley where she gets a kickin was brutal.

All these Harlan Coben adaptations seem to be daft. Fun to watch, but totally implausible and rather ridiculously played out.

Will still watch it though.

The books are similar I’ve read most of them

Well, I'm only on the second episode, but it is already getting incredibly silly and ludicrous.

Not sure I can stick with it.

I stuck with The Five, but that was just batshit crazy by the end. Safe was.okay, but again a bit unbelievable, but the kitchen sink has been thrown at the plot here and within two episodes we have a shooting, animal beheadings, betrayals, secrets, theft, kids taking hard drugs, revenge porn, extortion....

Geez.

It's worth sticking with, it gets better as it goes on imo.

The fat kid is blatantly trying to propel his "New James Corden" career from this series.

Okay.

So, it was ridiculous......but I did enjoy it.

Anyone else guess the baseball hat girl, Chrissy's secret reveal?

Seemed obvious to me. Wonder if it was the same for everyone.

She was a man in the book - I can’t recall any of that headless animal and kids in it

Just starting on this. Episode 2 all went a bit "Scooby Doo" with the kids. Trying to figure out what is main plot and which are sub-plots!

Stuck with it, and it turned out quite gripping with some interesting twists. Thought the perpetrator had something to do with the disappearance (affair, etc) but wasn't expecting it to turn out the way it did. I don't think the stuff with the kids contributed to the main plot, so could have done without that. Good call on the "James Corden mkII" - KNEW i'd seen him somewhere before.
Would still recommend if you haven't seen it.
