The Sixfields Fallacy (1 Viewer)

Firstly, another great victory today. Didn't go, listened on the radio. Have been to Sixfields once this season for the Orient game. One thing that is undeniable, those who are going to the 'home' games are getting to see some great matches. I'm getting sick of hearing this notion that seeing Cov at the Sixfields is a better experience than at the Ricoh. IT'S NOT. It's not in Cov, the ground is crap & facilities are crap. Yes, the atmosphere is good at the moment but if we were getting beat every week, the atmosphere would be just as poisonous as it has been at the Ricoh. The City is missing out on something fantastic at the moment. The experience for those visiting the Sixfields at the moment is enviable but do not delude yourselves. It would be even better if this was being played out in our own ground and in our own City.

I don't think you would find any who would disagree with you, I go and have seen awesome performances, we have a fantastic team at the moment who are scoring a lot of goals and playing free flowing football

A great result, lets hope when we get back home we can all "sing together". The chaps I went with loved the game but felt it was like a pre season game. 2000 home fans come on the powers that be get it sorted! The wind was reminiscent of Highfield Rd on a November night in the 1970`s.

I don't think there's anyone attending* who'd rather be watching the current form in Sixfields than the Ricoh, even if they're enjoying the games at the moment.

*Obviously that doesn't include certain people who try too hard to be contrary IMHO IMHO !!!!
