Love the arrogance of it. Shame he hasn't shown that all season. Needs to do so much more before he can hit back at his doubters.

He gets another year for me but purely because I know he can do better. His championship attempts this season have been nothing short of pathetic

Think he will be one that maybe deemed surplus although still has time to adapt/develop to the Championship.
No time for sentimental cobblers if we want to move forward I’m afraid.

I posted about this in the matchday thread and thought it was distasteful. Extremely poor at this level unfortunatly, as much as I want him to do the business as he's a Cov lad. Doesn't have the right to be arrogant after a lucky goal that went in off a defenders backside.

All just opinions, I’ll reserve mine and leave it to those far better qualified than me! MR, Adi & the coaching staff.

Yep agree he shushed after a spawn goal then continued to do everything we've criticised him about. Mainly sitting himself and passing back despite acres in front. Even Clive questioned it

Good league 1 player.
We need better if we want to improve.

Good servant and love the ‘local lad’ element etc but if we can get a small fee for him - take it.

Are people expecting us to have a squad full of first-teamers, i'm not sure that's how it works. Good squad player and relatively cheap.

I'd argue he's not. Last 8 games when the going got tough, Shipley got ignored

So we had walker who was utterly atrocious today and completely ignored, yet we have yet another thread about the guy who scored. Might not be good enough, that's an opinion but it really is like Groundhog Day.

The bias on this board at times with opinions that are based not on performance but preconceived hatred.

Mate we all know you're Shipley uncle so pipe down.

Walker doesn't shush or put his fingers in his ears when he's scored

You're right he's a striker who cost us £1m and scored 1 in 5 but is seen as the messiah

Give him a chance to see how he performs within a fully fit squad, he's only been asked to play when we've been crippled with injuries.

Walker was carrying a knee injury and has been for some time-Robins said so after the game.
You are correct though, there is bias, and we all too often know where yours lies.

You really don't. If you look at my posts I support all of the players who are often digged out, its just that some are more often than others. I defended Burge etc on here too. I thought we were all supporters, you should try it. Seems most would rather criticise and run with the crowd. Being a City fan has always been more than that to me.

And if Walker was genuinely carrying a knee injury then when we're completely safe it was stupid playing him at all.

I think Shipley doesn’t help because he mixes the arrogance with the complete lack of effort. Always going to rile fans up if you aren’t delivering. If he just did the basics like tracking back and putting his foot in he’d get a lot more latitude (look at Max!)
