for me russel slade seems to have the credentials that we need. Experienced in this league and able to get players in on a budget that will play for the shirt.

Unfortunately my prediction is some bullshit from mv passed down from above that he will stay to prove us wrong and give his all to save the club. The real reason being it dont fit into sisu plans to spend anything whilst they e tract the last pennies out the club before liquidating us

I quite like the idea of Gareth Ainsworth, done a fantastic job on a budget at Wycombe and knows league one and two very well.

David Flitcroft. Bury fans wouldn't believe it.

Slade or if possible Jackett for me.

Let's just buy a lottery ticket, rather than have a corporate plan to get us out of this mess. The way out shouldn't be difficult as a corporate plan got us here.

I'm sure that Venus will resign as caretaker manager.
Unfortunately, Oggy and the lad running the under 23's will be given the job.

Russell slade for me, been around long enough and no's the level of league one and two.
Gareth ainsworth is a up and coming manager who will demand nothing but 100% from his players, but I feel we need a experienced campaigned manager.

Who would want the job.it least this mess must be coming to an end. It's obvious they have no money at all.

I think experience now in a relegation battle is key for our new manager we went down the route of young inexperienced manager pressley and it almost took us down and same with body thorn inexperienced manager we need someone who like big sam but obviously iv had too many beers but a sky blue can dream

A few Russel slade facts to suggest the job should be his ASAP
Russel slade never brought a player at Leyton orient...
Took Yeovil Town Grimsby town and Leyton orient to play off finals...
Kept a struggling Scarborough and Brighton up in there respective leagues....
His cv fits the current and future situation in my eyes
Oh and has the all important 39.8% win percentage

I think we should stop looking for any so-called "big name" managers (aka Mogga). I really think we need a guy that knows this league inside out or at least would get to know it within a game or two. I've been looking at Russell Slade as well. He looks like he would fit the bill. We just need a few players as well to build on.

Who would take a bet that we will have a new manager by Xmas.. I wouldn't. Sisu won't do anything that costs them money unless it's a necessity. You might say getting a manager is necessity because we will go down otherwise but they clearly don't care... I think they must be waiting for the result of the legals whilst hoping for a windfall on the Callum Wilson clause or an offer for Stevenson or any other player with value (not many). The club would probably be cheaper to run the further down the leagues we go whilst they sort the more important issues to them. My theory.

Why should there be compensation. His main job is director of football. He's only a temp manager

Whenever I hear Noddy Holder shouting that, I'm reminded of Billy Cotton shouting "Wakey Waaakeyyyy" at the start of the Billy Cotton Band Show years ago on the radio. Sundays if I remember right.

Yep. Sunday lunch time. Sit round the table for dinner and listen out for Billy Cotton's Band Show. Blimey! That's gotta be around 1957/8?

It ran for years, HH. Certainly all through the '50s (and beyond, I think). On the Light Programme.
