A couple of the fans forums? Ummm...... he doesn't mean the Facebook group does he?I have received an email from The Roost (pub nextdoor to St Andrews) following an enquiry about whether they would open to City fans on matchdays. Thought it would be worth posting:
Hope you’re well. In short yes. We have already reached out to a couple of the fan forums and will be welcoming coventry home fans to the Roost on match days.
We also plan on looking into coaches which would pick up in coventry and drop to the pub which is just a 2 minute walk to the ground.
We have a DJ from 1.30 and a number of drinks offers on match days.
Please help us spread the word.
Look forward to seeing you in the Roost soon
The Manchester is where it's atWill the DJ be as good as the one in the Castle in Blackpool?
I hope so... then the place will be empty, and can get to the bar without issue!A couple of the fans forums? Ummm...... he doesn't mean the Facebook group does he?

It was bouncing in there a couple of seasons back. Think we ended up dancing on the tables with a hen party.

Good on them.
Plan on making a day of it in Brum at the start of the season but come winter a bus straight to a pub near the ground sounds ideal.
It was bouncing in there on the Friday night before the game too.It was bouncing in there a couple of seasons back. Think we ended up dancing on the tables with a hen party.

That was OK but the Castle usually has a DJ on who just slaughters everybody and anybody.
Joe Curran is his name, been doing the Castle for years.
Think he nearly had a couple of lads in tears who stormed out.
He's just as hard on the women!!!
Brutal at times.... funny as fuck if you are thick skinned, those Northern lasses seem to love it.
