Saw some tv footage at the weekend of great big lumps of turf being ripped out as a result of a rugger match.

Haven't we got enough problems without this shit!

Where they had the scrums.
The grass is only a couple of inches thick and not rooted to the undersoil yet.
Interesting watching all the physios and turf jigsaw enthusiasts on the pitch during play.

It's not like we play free flowing attacking football is it?

To be honest we have more and bigger problems that the state of the pitch.

The pitch is a temporary one I believe. Will be relaid in the summer with a synthetic/grass hybrid.

It'll be sorted by Saturday.....happens all over the country where grounds are shared...this is not a unique problem for CCFC. The general condition is much improved since it was relaid!
