Said I would not go again and give them any more of my money but I was offered a 'Free Ticket' as my brothers mate has a season ticket but was away (lucky sod)...so off I went..
Turnstile didn't work ,paper tickets OK but S/T didnt!
As I had been given a freebie I was feeling generous and got a round in..Bargain only £12.50 for 2 bottles of warm beer and 2 bottles of equally warm pop.made my way to my seat and watched possiblly the worst 45 minutes of football I can remember with the only respite being when the woman behind me pushed her feet into my back.....deep joy! During all this the Scoreboard kept flashing up the 'Together we are proud,together we will rise again' message...are they taking the p*ss? The 2nd half started slowly but then the mini revival saw a good goal dissallowed (shit happens) and a well taken goal with some decent attacking play all round..happy days...then normal service was resummed with us dropping deeper and deeper and allowing them as much possession as they wanted..AT did nothing to change it for 20 minutes then he was going to bring on Jedwood Willis but...too late,the equaliser nearly everyone in the ground could see coming arrived!!
another 10 minutes of dross followed and then we made our way to the car park where we all sat until 10.15 because unlike any other football ground in the country we won't empty the car parks until all the pedestrian fans are at home and safe....I felt short changed and I got in for free..Well fair play to you who will continue to go but it's not for me:wave::wave::wave:
