The fixtures involving clubs lower than City are marked with an *

Not many games where clubs in near the bottom play each other play only the City v Crewe & Yeovil V Port Vale can limit points potentials.

Tuesday has a couple of important games, if they go well City probably only need a point to guarantee safety.

Somehow I think the Crewe game will be a draw, as it will suit both sides.

Tuesday 21st April 2015
MK Dons 3-0 Doncaster
Notts County 1-3 Preston*
Rochdale 1-0 Leyton Orient*
Scunthorpe 1-1 Bradford*
Swindon 3-3 Walsall

Saturday 25th April 2015
Bradford V Barnsley
Chesterfield V Bristol City
Coventry V Crewe*
Fleetwood V Colchester*
Leyton Orient V Sheff Utd*
Notts County V Doncaster*
Peterborough V Crawley*
Preston V Swindon
Rochdale V MK Dons
Scunthorpe V Gillingham*
Walsall V Oldham
Yeovil V Port Vale*

Tuesday 28th April 2015
Colchester V Swindon*

Sunday 3rd May 2015
Barnsley V Rochdale
Bristol City V Walsall
Colchester V Preston*
Crawley V Coventry*
Crewe V Bradford*
Doncaster V Scunthorpe*
Gillingham V Notts County*

This thread is making nervous - I was starting to feel pretty confident about our survival.

Don't worry we are going to win 2-0 Saturday and 1-0 at Crawley

We're already fine.

I really don't think we will lose at home to Crewe anyway. The last 3 home league games we have totally dominated.

I expect more of the same on Saturday. Crewe are a poor side and have a terrible goal difference.

The only problem I can foresee is if the City players are not up for it and are on auto-pilot, holiday mode.

If results go out way tomorrow I think we're safe, if Orient or Notts win then we still need a point to secure safety.

regret buying a crawley ticket now. win this weekend vs crewe and it'll be a pointless journey

Try celebrating being safe and not worrying about the results. Just about all of us would have celebrated being safe before the last game a couple of months ago.

Have done lots of last game of the season where a result was needed and sometimes other results needed to go our way as well. I hated it although it kept you buzzing until the last kick of the season. I would be happy if we were never involved in a last day relegation battle ever again. Bad for the ticker

The permatations and possibilities are still intriguing but Notts County and Leyton Orient imo need to win tonight and at least another one game to have a chance of over taking us and Crewe need to win at the Ricoh too, add Crawley needing a win and a draw and the win has to be against us it would be pretty miraculous to be honest but I suppose this is Coventry City.
I know we are crap at home but with Crewe needing a minimum of a victory they will have to be expansive and go for it, I think we will cope better them doing that.

We'll be fine now this season ! It's been generally appalling though for a club with the potential of ours. A season full of mistrust, sycophants, lies, poor loans and worst of all the loss of OUR stadium to a fecking rugby club. We need consolidation and optimism now for next year, we really do !

We're no longer crap at home...the results do not reflect huge improvement recently, where we have dominated play and been unlucky not to win on three occasions....

What happens if two clubs are level on points and goal difference? It could happen.

Notts County now haven't won in 11 games.

Looking bleak for them I reckon. They need to pull a win and a draw from their last 2 games to give them any chance you would have to say.

Orient have 2 tough fixtures left.

Has to be out of those 2 and Crewe for that last place I think. I really hope we stuff Crewe on Saturday and keep them right down there in the mix. I have a bit of a soft spot for County, as my family has been traced back to Nottingham to1066 and I still have relatives there now to this very day. All of those have been County fans.

They look a poor side though this season for sure.

Would rather Crewe went down myself. Have quite a soft spot for Leyton Orient.

Two draws for LO and two defeats for Crewe and that should do it! Tough all round though...

I'd rather Orient went down. Think if they bin their manager they are more likely to improve next year. Would like us to try and sign Cox if they go down.

Only 5 games left that matter, win or draw and we are safe, if we lose Crewe need a point and County has to win.

Tuesday 28th April 2015
Colchester V Swindon*

Sunday 3rd May 2015
Colchester V Preston*
Crawley V Coventry*
Crewe V Bradford*
Gillingham V Notts County*

Bear with me, Colchester can overtake too.. but I think they have to win both games as closing goal difference is implausible.

Finally, this is shit isn't it, down to the last sodding game.

Hopefully Cody McDonald will save us. But I would not be a bit surprised if both Crewe and Notts Co win their last games.
