People are saying that Cameron and Martin had the worst performance by a city player ever...grow up...they defended like dogs the whole game and got feck all support from the midfield and as a result the whole team capitulated with five mins to go. Dickinson is by far the worst player I've seen this season play for city...it's like having a fecking statue at left back, he is super slow, can't defend, attack, can only just play a five yard pass and Macca has gone to shit because he is getting feck all support from him. He has been brought through the Tony Pulis academy of football and this is plain to see as he has no technical ability whatsoever. To think what we witnessed yesterday was what stoke fans see every week...I'd rather be in the conference and trying to play football than the prem and play rugby...before today id of had carsley til the end of the season but of these are the tactics he is implementing get someone in now and if it is a 4-4 fecking -2 merchant then we are all doomed to this this shit level of football for long like we were in the championship. If not then the play offs are achievable as long as we win the next four games against teams 19th and below. It's got to be Paulo Sousa, Steve Davis, Mark Yates...someone that plays football and doesn't stick with 4-4-2 HoofBall as football has moved on

I thought it was riduculous when someone said it was the worst team EVER. Nonsense. However, Cameron was awful and out of his depth. I don't mind Dickinson, I think he adds a bit of steel. Prefer Adams but still don't think he's that bad.

Adams is missed massively! His link up play gives us the balance on the left and brings the best out of macca!! With out of him we loose our attacking momentum!

Most players played poorly and Martin was one of the better outfield players. Dickinson is an emergency loan to a mid table league one club. What do people expect - Gareth bale?

Swindon also were the best team in this league by a country mile and put us under huge pressure for the whole game.

Martin played like Beckenbauer compared to Cameron.
Cameron can nt head a ball can nt tackle and passing lol
he just can nt. He is the worst centre half I ve ever seen in a
City shirt and I ve seen a lot. He s constantly the wrong side
of opposition players he runs around the ball before kicking it.
yesterday he had no idea where his player was most of the time.
He also lets balls bounce over him. I gree with the poster on the
Crewe forum as they too thought he was the worst defender they d seen.

then again he has a poor defence policy,in debt,and nothing in the cabinet either

And? Shrewsbury have done the double over us.... In fact we sit 18th in the table vs bottom half.

Swindon were better than us in every department, they passed better, worked harder, tackled better, in fact their midfield 4 completely our bossed our 5 man midfield they didn't allow us any time on the ball yet when they got it they looked more comfortable under pressure, played nice little 1-2's. they made us panic and go long.

Swindon have more points than us, scored more goals than us, conceded less than us, kept twice as many cleansheets as us

Just my opinion having seen both...Swindon wouldn't have scored if we'd done the basics right in the last five

Yep, I agree with that but they'd already carved us open on a number of occasions and should have already taken the lead at the break.

Strange, isn't it, that a player can go from being the answer to all our prayers (hands up those who wanted him in instead of Edge or Wood) to the worst player ever to put on a sky blue shirt.

I couldn't go yesterday (illness) but listened on the radio, and it sounded like Swindon were an excellent team, and we were just awful. It happens. Unless you're Barcelona, you're always going to come up against a better team at sometime, and even they have their off days.
Tactic? Apparently rubbish. But they got us a win at Bournemouth. Players? All crap, and should never play again (ditto.)

I know people are frustrated that we lost a really important game, but that doesn't suddenly make them relegation fodder. It's not all black and white.

What cost us was Carsley's naivety to mix it up in the vital stages of the game, they made subs, they put the ball in our court and we didn't respond, when players like Jennings, Bailey and co were playing poorly, he didn't take them off, I think he probably should've brought another CB (like v Bournemouth) to bolster the defence before we conceded again. I couldn't see what Bell or Cody were going to do to benefit us, and they did nothing. Poor subs and poor times.

A manager can only be judged on his ability to change a game, whatever the score, Carsley strikes me as a manager who will not tinker with a winning team, before, during or after the game, even if changes are necessary, he is the one man who should be held responsible.

You were fortunate to not witness the shambollx display put on by ccfc. It was horrendous and quite frankly shameful. They are not worthy of the SkyBlue song being sung to them.

Some people are going a bit OTT here, we were poor, but our game plan worked somewhat, we kept them out for over 80m, it was Carsley who didn't mix it up and that eventually cost us. Lets not forget that brilliant save by Foderingham to kept out Leon Clarke's superb header, that was the turning point and we would've won had that gone in.

let's not forget murphy's brilliant save in the first half and the aubsequent rebound that was fired over from a yard

Also, they made us look like the away team for pretty much the whole game. Have to say, they bossed the game well and annoyingly were a good team to watch against our shadow chasing hapless bunch.

I still think we need an overhaul, look through my posts if you like, I've been asking for it for weeks.

But still, we were lucky, that #16 should've scored on 3 clear cut chances, one shot I thought was in, he was terrible to be brutally honest, but still Murphy kept us in and I thought we was going to nick it, wasn't too be and got torn apart for the large part of the game, and certain individuals underperformed, but still we had that one chance that was denied by an amazing save, out of the top draw, which was the turning point, as, had we have scored, it would've been effectively game over. Even if we had won, I still would've said individuals need to be dropped, Dickinson, Jennings, Bailey would be top of the list tbh.

The gameplan didn't work though unless the plan was too get absolutely dominated an allow Swindon to take 18 shots at goal an hope they didn't go in

I think it was to counter them which worked for the goal and nearly again for the Clarke save.

We got very lucky yesterday... And still lost!
