HSV are talking about a Demo next year after 30 minutes in some game - they haven't won a trophy in 30 years. Minor problem in comparison...

Good protest made their point well. Didn't effect the final result in the end whatever anyone else thinks
If SISU don't go we will be down anyway so nothing lost

BTW, how shit were the Blades for a top six side?

Wrong thread but no doubt about it the players can raise their game when the opposition are higher up.
I was right to point out we wouldn't get mullered.

Some of the histrionics on this thread will never be forgotten after last night. You'd have thought from some of the comments that fans were planning to raid Fort Knox.

I'm glad people went on the pitch last night. Thank you for ignoring the hysterical people who would rather we stay quiet.

Still stand by my opinion of pitch invasions, however how events unfolded last night was in terms of our plight getting national coverage spot on. Will uphold my hands up to that. Well done to those who protested through out the night.

I think further pitch invasions will detract from what the fans achieved last night. It's peaceful impact and the understanding of the commentators should not be underestimated. The police & stewards seemed to have taken a generally sensible approach to what could have been a volatile situation too.

The whole night was organised peaceful and has people across football talking about Ccfc and its owners Sisu.

How is the momentum kept? how do we keep people talking about us? How do we get the decision makers to do something?

How? We were dead on our feet after 75 minutes, we needed the rest more than them.
And even if you're right, there's more at stake here than a point.

I was with OSB. I didn't agree with the pitch invasion idea, but it looked great on tele. Well done to those brave enough to risk bans to go on the pitch.

The BBC local radio coverage this morning has had a slight slant to it IMO
So Trish watched the game on the telly and thought the whistles were a pain and possibly detrimental to the players
The invasion scared Mark Venus into the tunnel.
They just don't get it,never bought a ticket in their life most likely.
Andy Blair chipped in again with last nights viewpoint.

If people are planning to storm the pitch to get the game abandoned, the season looks screwed as it is without that shit happening!!

View attachment 6065

It's not just one post or person either, nor just on Facebook, there's lots of them, which looks like it's going to happen, people will storm that pitch, we fans are so divided and confused, this is what has become of us.

Me personally, I think it's stupid.

I agree with the protest but disagree that it didn't have a bearing on the result. We were in the ascendancy and could have nicked it. The delay gave Sheffield United a chance to regroup and they came out quick and caught us cold. Probably lost us a point but maybe that's a small price to pay for the coverage we've received.

we had a good 2nd half but SU were turning the screw, hit the post twice shortly before the "break"

Personally, I think it was too much of a coincidence for it not to have affected the result, but as you say a small price to pay in the end maybe.

Better because it turned out harmless and never effected the game being abandoned. That wouldn't of been right for people who had no idea about the planned invasion.
