I'm not a massive traveller so will probably just go to the Norwich game to see which of the regulars have kept their seats around me. I like the little group of guys that sit around me, we have some good banter and they all know their football.

Saturday 23rd July - Kettering Town away

This game might be scrapped - Kettering can no longer play at Kenilworth Rd, but as Rushden and Diamonds have folded Kettering may be moving to play there (Nene Park), we are talking about 2 weeks to get this sorted so can't see it happening,

In response to the post i'm 50/50 on going to Nuneaton for the sake of seeing some young blood in the team

In fairness it's probably quicker to get to Nunny's ground than ours for alot of fans, i don't think you can use the travel excuse here gouldberg you cheeky chaffinch! (That's if you live in Cov)

I would have gone to them all (except Chesterfield) but due to working commitments can only make Hinckley and Norwich. Pre season friendly games are terrible usually but fun to go away to.
Shame there is no Northampton this year the only silverware I have ever seen the City lift is the Jackson Grundy cup
Also, I went to Walsall last year, I don't know if anyone else was there and saw my mate punch a ball that Clingan had shot over the bar during the warmup and it bounced off a coppers helmet knocking it off. There was a huge cheer from the Sky Blue Army

I remember that, was top day as far as pre-seasons fixtures go. Little social club feet from the ground with a train station in walking distance would love to have done that one again.

So you cant make the game because.........................

Just bring your mum and dad with you!! Let them see some proper football rather than that Scottish stuff they see up North Plus it'll put 2 more people on the attendance, so more money for us (presuming we get a contribution to gate reciepts for Friendlies....Anyone know if we do?? Cus if we dont, why do we have so few home friendlies EVERY year??)

And back to the topic, ill be at them all. Looking forward to them already, and anticipating which players ill be seeing (new signings and trialists)

Anyone remember last year V Nuneaton when their "chavvy" fans (Ma_Ma_Ma_Carl_Baker said it, but me just incase they read this ) fans thought they were hard and about 5 or 6 ran onto the pitch to try and take on the stewards who were mostly older men or female?? Well Hard they were (and I was suprised that the stewards won that fight!!)

Nuneaton, Hinckley and Norwich. Nuneaton and Hinckley aren't too far and quite enjoy the atmosphere at both friendlies.

Went to all the away ones last season, there a good laugh tbh, does anyone remember a clearance from one of our defenders, and hits this Leicester fans pint out of his hand all over his leicester shirt, so funny at the Hinckley game. Walsall was a laugh aswell It looked like we had more fans than them a the ground as we fill most of our end

I have driving lessons on Saturdays until the football season so i'll try and make the midweek ones.

Is there any chance this can be made a sticky for the time being? Then we can put all the results in here.

I went to Treacle and Hinckley last season. Both of them bored the crap out of me

I wonder what has happened to that Orlando Smeekes fella.

Nuneaton for me and my mate. My question: what is the best thing to make a "SISU OUT" banner out of? I don't want to ruin good sheets..might just have to be a tatty bit of cardboard, reflecting the "on the cheap" approach they like so much.
