I can't be the only one that's feeling completley fed up with all the constant politics talk surrounding Coventry City? I miss the days of talking purely about the on the field aspects and Im sure many other people do also. We're the laughing stock of the football world, I cant believe how some City fans aren't recognising how uncommon it is to be in the perilous situation we face ourselves in? Either way, I've had enough of talking politics; who's done this, whos done that, why theres no solution, whos to blame, what next... it's just all too much for me. (Not a dig at all at anyone discussing club politics, we shouldnt have to be really) We should be talking football, we all love our football, we all love our Coventry City, we should be talking what formation to play, who we'd like to get in the summer.. not where will we be playing and when can we give a reserve kid a contract... When someone brings up City these days at work I cant even be bothered to talk about us.
I feel some people on here dont realise the gravity of how far we've sunk- we've finished 16th in the Third divison.. We have the Falkirk manager in charge (just say the out loud to realise how shiit it sounds).. We have no ground.. We have no prospects..
God knows how some of you think this season has been respectful. Pressley sums it up, a boring drip of a manager, boring tactics from a boring man. Sums up our future, bleak and hopeless.Feel for his mrs, she must have to read a book or do the crossword whilst shes shagging that boring prat..

There is no need for the personal insults for our manager who has only been with us for weeks. At least let him have a full season before judging him.

I agree. I've lost total interest at the minute. We are a total disgrace and utterly pathetic. I try to always be competitive in everything I do, look to find a way to win no matter what. It's hard to relate to a club where losing comes so easily now.

It's been bad for years and I've stuck with us, it's a reminder that life doesn't always go the way you intend. But recently it's gone beyond a joke. My 10 month old son has a cov kit, some city vests etc. I've always thought I'd bring him up as a City fan. I hate to say it but I think it would be kinder to him to support a team with a chance.

So, what was your Mrs doing while you were whining on an empty forum on a bank holiday weekend?

Not being funny but I'm that bored of seeing all the endless negative posts on here now I've not fully bothered to read the paragraph, but saw that you took it upon yourself to personally Insult our manager and his wife, nice bloke keep up your evident overwhelming backing of our club

The personal digs at Pressley go a little too far.

Okay, I take the personal pressley dig back. I am incredibly frustrated at the moment with us though. I literally can find no positives whatsoever around CCFC at the moment. We finished 16th in the Third Division and I have a really really bad feeling about Pressley.

I long for the days of getting out of the Ricoh back to a ground near the city centre with a homely feel to it, close to the pitch a double decker stand behind the goal and plenty of pubs near by.

Even without the points deduction it wouldn't be top half, so I agree with you there. Seeing us fail to make the top half in such a dreadful league is about as insulting a time as I can remember since I started supporting them. There are some who say we should be grateful for not having gone to League 2 like Pompey-we shouldn't be in League 1 in the first place yet courtesy of the idiots in charge we're more likely to go down a league than up one next season.

The current points tally plus the removed ten altos have seen us finish 13th. However its not right that you use this as a stick to beat him with. Had we not lost the points we wolf have remained motivated in the remaining games. Plus we would not have used so many of the squad......

We still blundered every time we got within a stone's throw of the play-offs and dramatically failed when expectation reached its highest (Crewe, JPT). Whether that's ability or mentality more to blame I'm not sure but even without the deduction 6th place still probably wouldn't have happened.

First of all apologies, for the typo's. It was done via that swipe business. In response to your point the failure against Crewe and other blunders were before Pressleys time so again can't be used against him.
