Anyway the real point here is the corporate experience is worsening and this is just another example

It's farcical. One game I went to the normal route from seat to hospitality area is a couple of minutes. As wasps apparantly were "organising" some rooms for the evening you were diverted all over the place so it took nearer to 10 minutes.

Acl have decided not to serve as its not profitable for them - you can decide for you selves what that tells you about priorities and the way forward.

It's a shame you are so quick to dismiss people Nick. I know there are people on this thread that know exactly what the problem is with the pies. Unfortunately you find it very hard to listen.

What could be more "sinister" than running out of pies.
I'm stumped.

Imagine if CCFC became that much of a basket case, the fans were arguing over pies getting served to corporate and who's fault it was :joyful:

Oh, wait :wacky:

There's some crazy talk about going to Northampton. As if our owners would commit financial suicide to our club

I think they WILL go, but at least aren't stupid enough to predict crowds over 6,000 and they will of course leave all options open and not say the Ricoh boat has sailed.

Oh and we can be really confident Fisher won't grow a beard either.

I once heard that Coventry had the biggest independent Food Bank in the Country, we are on
Our arse, we ain't got two "Full Backs" to rub together, no Stadium and soon no academy.
There can't be a more deserving case in the "hole of Coventry" so come on charity food bank.

Yes, budget for crowds of 2,000, then they can play the waiting game and force ACL to sell on the cheap. It's a really good plan.

I don't quite get this.

I have never been one to blame Sisu for all and sundry, so think I am reasonably balanced (wife will say otherwise), but.......

ACL don't usually make statements and didn't here.

Sisu did make a statement and it wasn't very clear.

A lot of us would just like clarification. As Sisu are the only ones to make a statement people are suggesting they could have been clearer.

I would love for ACL to make a statement, but that doesn't look like it is going happen.

Maybe I am missing something, but there seems to be a bit of wailing and gnashing of teeth over a very small issue.

And is it wrong to expect both sides to comment? I have insinuated because you and others have not mentioned ACL, it's all CCFC should say this, they should clarify that, which was my point, but it got lost as so many things do. My last word, we're going around in circles.

Does this apply to all CCFC suppliers?

Should we expect statements from Nike if your kit falls apart? Statements from Realise if the website is shit or NeuLion if the Player goes down? (that took some Googling)

We are CCFC customers, they sell the product. Their relationship with their suppliers is their business.

At last some common sense I thought.
But it's not that simple
CCFC only sell us a ticket and a programme; other parties sell food and drink, but I accept that's a subtlety that most people will not recognise

CCFC have a contract with those parties to sell food & drink. You need to ask yourself why would they stop selling, what have they got to gain ?
I think you'll find the answer is something that CCFC has done or more likely not done.

I don't know, they (CCFC) won't say.

But you have a brain don't you Nick? Why would they stop selling pies to CCFC corporate fans. why?

To be spiteful? I don't think so.
To force CCFC out? I don't think so.
To save money of staff? it's not very likely is it.

Why? Use your brain Nick

Maybe its just me but if everyone's kit started falling apart I would expect a statement from Nike or Just Sports, same if Player goes down you don't contact CCFC you contact the people who supply the service. I wouldn't expect much from CCFC past them saying they've contacted the relevant people and are awaiting a response. Do you really think Fisher is qualified to tell you why your kit falls apart or the commentary cuts out?

Do people really believe this? IEC, the JV between ACL and Compass, control all the F&B at the Ricoh. The 'pies' in question here are sold directly to our fans, CCFC aren't involved in the transaction at all. A fan goes to the outlet, asks for a pie, pays the money to an IEC employee and the money goes to IEC.

The suggestion that CCFC should be paying IEC to provide this service is crazy. If that genuinely is the case then the deal we have is far far worse than anyone imagined.

Same with the suggestion its to do with sales volume. These are the same products sold in the rest of the ground. Surely the requirement doesn't change that much from match to match so, as any other food retailer does, you predict the demand and work to that. If there is so much left over it is down to incompetence on the part of IEC.

Additionally if there is so much left over why don't they move it to other parts of the ground. You regularly see tweets, particularly from the away supporters, about everything selling out quickly, on some occasions before the game has even kicked off.

Also, where has this ACL don't make statements thing come from? They've made plenty of statements in the past when they've felt they could blame SISU for something. Same with Wasps, the CT have constant comments from Wasps but get a 'no comment' to this.

That speaks volumes to me. If this was down to unpaid bills by CCFC or similar we would know about it.

Doubt that is the case. The telegraph spin machine would have been in overdrive had the football club been at fault.
