Wishful thinking I know but the potential is awesome.... 2 wembley trophies, a promotion and the vile scum get relegated and we meet again next season although I don't hold out much hope of that as they always manage to scrape together the points to stay up.... Are they turning into cov lol!!!

They've always looked to have that little bit extra though in previous seasons. A little something that could just get them out of trouble. Even last season under McCleish, they started off the season really well. Seeing them this season I thought they'd improve under Lambert, but there's nothing there. Some less than average players and confidence at 0, I can see them going down. The other thing is, the day I knew we were going to struggle to stay up in the Premiership was when we went to Chelsea and conceded 6. When Villa let in 8 there this season I thought exactly the same!

It wud be just our luck that the season they go down we are in different leagues, if ever there was a game to get the Ricoh rocking!

Well Villa are now 19th in the premiership too.. so if they get relegated that'll be the icing on the cake...

Lambert's team seam to make a resurgence in the latter end of the season.

On that Villa website that someone linked too the other day, they were basically saying it was going to happen this season and Villa would be safe.

I'd like to see them knocked down a few pegs. They just aren't the footballing Gods they believe themselves to be!

They're not even the main team in their city! Birmingham are (for what its worth lol)

I had a good feeling about this season as regards City last summer, but I couldn't believe how average we were at first and then got poorer for a while under Shaw. Its turning out OK now though as I look forward to every match. We actually have players who you'd really want to pay to watch in contrast to the previous couple of seasons where we just looked like relegation candidates all the way with no pace, no flair, no spirit.

I'm with you on that one.

Got their fingers shoved so far up their ass they're pocking out their mouths!

Some of them are really vile (and I don't mean Villa).

Some of the comments they make on the Cov FB page are disgusting!
