It's always the lawyers who win. Even when you're right it isn't worth it.
I remember a friend of a friend who sued his dentist for work that went wrong claiming he wasn't looked after etc and he was right. He had a case and was right. He ended up in court over 3 years after all the different hearings and finally got compensation totaling 75k the only trouble is it cost him around 100k in every fee added together.
My point is he won and still lost. If he had said nothing he would of saved 25k so no matter how right you are it just isn't worth it sometimes.

What do you want them to do roll over and give the Ricoh away for nothing, which indently would also be wasting tax payers money, mayby they shouldn't of stepped in in the first place CCFC would of then gone bust in the early 2000's. Hindsight a wonderful thing isn't it.
