King made it clear that relegation was not an affordable option.

His only option now is to open his wallet (which to quote Blackadder is “More capacious than an elephant's scrotum and just as difficult to get your hands on”) and let Lampard bring in some replacements for these spineless fairies.

Anyone, and I mean anyone (including players who are “one of our own”) seen laughing and joking with the opposition after a loss should never play in Sky Blue again.

Playing for Coventry City is a privilege, not a laugh. Take it seriously or f*ck off

Asante, Collins, Latibeaudiere, Simms, Kitching, Dasilva, Binks are all either spineless, league 1 level or don't play.

They need moving on all of them.

What's the point in spending money this window? We are as midtable as it gets.

Completely disagree, could see us very easily being in league one next season

6 points above the drop zone, gets to 3 and this deck will drop like a stone

have to beat Bristol in 2 weeks time

Alternatively, a lesson for King is not to waste any more money

6 points clear is huge. We could lose the next 4/5 and we'd probably be clear of safety. There's some awful sides down there.

I’m not asking for stupid money to be spent.
Just a bit of a clear out and replacements brought in.

I’m struggling to support these players. I really don’t like them

It's not as simple unfortunately. No one will want some of those players we want out and the market is inflated.

Robins and Austin have unforgivably wasted £45m on a lot of bang average footballers. We can't keep throwing silly money if Austin is involved.

The summer, however, will be a different conversation. Serious investment will be needed, especially if we have money from MVE, Sheaf, Gyokeres and potentially Hamer.

I would suggest the club will have to wait now until the end of the window to see who leaves before we buy……with all the risks that includes. Notwithstanding the club has also issued regular hints about loans only

Quote a different list for us then, cuz it doesn't

Bobby Thomas, Kitching, Joel, Binks, Dasilva, Collins, Asante, I'd love it if they all were moved on, but realistically they won't all be.

I'd move on Eccles, Torp these 2 aren't good enough, I don't rate anything these players offer.

I'd move Simms on, we don't play to his strengths and he doesn't ever get a game.

For me the only players in our squad I genuinely believe can be part of a top 10 side are Dovin, Bidwell, MVE, Sheaf, Sakamoto, Mason-Clarke, Wright.

That shouldn’t be our benchmark.

We’re Coventry City. One of Englands oldest and most famous clubs.

Playing for us is a privilege

Rather than buy players , I'd rather he spent the cash on a pay off for Lampard. Massive mistake and lots of us knew it.

Who would you bring in then?

Keep in mind that from your own demand, his replacement would have to get a tune out of this shower of shite (something even the greatest manager in our history couldn’t do)

We will be lucky to stay up this season, we have recruited terrible players, no1 would want these players and we haven't a pot to piss in.

It’s so depressing to think about how badly we wasted the Gyokeres and Hamer money. I have zero faith that we’ll ever get a close to the Prem as we did in 22/23 under this owner with this leadership group.

Sorry, don’t agree. We don’t even register with some fans, in the UK or abroad.

Always took great pride in supporting City, a small club, who stuck it out for decades in the top flight.

That’s the most important thing for me, Austin has a lot to answer for tbh, really hope King invests in a new head of recruitment before we spend any cash.
