While we are on the nostalgia thing, does anyone remember the original words to the sky blues song?
Instead of Tottenham or Chelsea, United or anyone
From memory it was something like, Wild wolves, or ......... Notts Forest or anyone, or did I imagine it?
(My memory is failing unfortunately)

Apparently it was meant to be Colchester, but it wasn’t actually their nickname (think that came from the Sky Blue History podcast).

The Oystermen was the nickname of Colchester Town, but as you say not Colchester United.
