Previous pass should’ve been caught

You say that like he’s not a 24 year old phenom QB.

Game.
Also, big NFL pet peeve, teams taking 2nd half timeouts so early like the rams did with their first

Rams are a running team.

They either bottled it, or thought they’d catch out the most experienced big time NFL team by dropping back and passing.

Either way. They failed.

Why do they allow all those hacks on the field so soon? Fucking ridiculous.

Now who said it wasn't going to be a close game?

Well done Pats. Defence tonight was sensational.

I’m glad the Pats won in the end as Goff is nowhere near a SB winning QB. I know it sounds stupid to say so soon after he’s got them there but I think it will be interesting to see how much they offer him. A big contract will break apart the rest of the team. They’ve got to do it next year or I can see them falling back to an average team again.

They've gambled on this season. Given up a lot of draft picks.
Said earlier in season didn't like Goff and how reliant they were on Gurley. Something not right with Gurley last couple of games.
Rams defense wasn't good regular season against the run. Had a big game against Dallas but gave up key plays again today. Could lose Suh in off season.
Pats defence literally had the game of their lives.

They did. They swarmed Goff and gave him so little time and Edelman was just brilliant. He's been brilliant all season long, but didn't half rack up the yardage tonight.

And when it comes to the crunch there's no-one better than Gronk.

Masterclass from Bill, just kept a lid on the whole game avoiding a shootout knowing that when it came to the crunch he can count on Brady to get it done.

How the Rams allowed Edelman so much space on so many occasions is beyond me

The offseason is too long. I wish they'd play the college game now or over the summer so there is something else to watch. Even a minor league would do. All we've got is to be excited about some draft kid.

Since you dared mention Rodgers in the same breath as Brady, Brady has won as many Superbowls as Rodgers has won regular season road games.

Undoubtedly best team won - totally outclassed the Rams and should feel lucky it didn't end up a rout. Got their defence to thank for that and how they kept that level up despite spending so much time on the pitch is a massive achievement. Think I'm right in saying only one redzone possession and the Pats made the most of it. I usually start to fall asleep during second qtr and then properly fall asleep during HT show, but this time I was wide awake throughout. Didn't watch HT show though.

Rams defence did as much as it could do but Goff just gave absolutely nothing. I said during the pre-show and when they came onto the pitch he looked nervous and what seemed like quite a Patriots-favouring crowd he was again going to struggle with communication and without that he's nothing. He has to be told what to do and can't manage his own plays. The one where he went out wide with a wide-open receiver in the middle showed that. Even when he looked like he was getting into his stride he just threw an easy INT.

Edelman undoubtedly MVP, although I feel the Rams punter probably deserves a decent mention - had so much to do and made sure Brady didn't get good field position at all.
