Watched NFL this week last night. Honestly this show gets better and better, could watch that and NFL show endlessly. The presenters have such good rapport, it can speak to new fans without patronising while still analysing games. Puts Match of the Day to shame.

Totally agree, its a great show and the genuine rapport between the three of them is excellent. Often very funny as well, especially with Osi going off on a tangent.

I never really warmed to Mark Chapman before this either, he's a bit wooden on MOTD2 but great on this.

Sorry to ruin this Skins loving by you all but I really hope that the Eagles smash them. 1. As a Falcons fan I worry about the Panthers opening up a 2 game lead especially as we are playing the Patriots in Foxboro next week and 2. I really can’t stand Cam Newton the guy is the biggest tool in NFL alongside OBJ, I laughed so hard with the comments he made the other week what a fool.

I like the bbc show and Chappers, Bell and Osi are great together. However I must disagree slightly about the Sky coverage, I really enjoy it when coach Jeff Reinebold is on. I find it very intriguing the way they breakdown the plays and go into a bit of depth. Maybe it’s because I would see myself more as a ‘sophomore pro’ than a ‘rookie’ when it comes to the game.
Although the approach the beeb have is excellent for rookie watchers.

Neil Reynolds is not very good, but agree with you on Reinebold.

Are we allowed to worry about the eagles yet? Newton had a shocker.

He did, but with no running game at all he was forced to throw and that showed the Panthers hand to the Eagles.

You have to have a balance between the throw and the run.

To be fair I only watched the condensed highlights on youtube and could see him throwing silly interceptions.

Average time ball is in play during an NFL game - 11 minutes.

go on skins. CC4L isn't going to be happy tonight.

Nope. Could be out for the season.

Skins might not be happy yet either. Bad penalty when we had the 49's backed up on 4th down. Just 7 points in it now. Need to re-affirm that two score lead.

Looking like a tied game is on the cards after the Skins previously being 17-0 up.

Dodgy call there though, cos Vernon Davis' elbow seems to be down, but called a turnover on the field.

Skins need to win to help wipe away the tears of the City defeat.

we haven't had much luck this season. the call of a fumble against cousins vs the eagle was awful too. Makes you wonder how they aren't reversing it when everybody can see on the replay it was wrong.

Yep, that's two. The Cousins one was plain wrong. His arm was clearly coming forwards. The Davis one today is another bad error. Hie elbow is clearly on the ground before the ball is ripped out.

That'll do, donkey, that'll do.

Great pass to Davis. Now right at the red zone knocking on the door. Put this away it will be game over.

Where would we be without Cousins. I really hope that extra point doesn't come back to bite us. three and a half minutes to wear this game out.

Should be okay though. One first down will seal it. SF have two t/o's left. One first down and we will be alright.

Stupid move by SF to make the onside kick. Now the Skins are now at the 49'ers 45 yard line.

Hmmm. Not what I was anticipating. Felt confident we would get the first down. Now 53 secs left and only a field goal needed. Need the defence to step up.

THAT is one of the reasons this is one of the greatest sports in the world. So much drama, so close. 3 hours comes down to the wire. Incredible.

Indeed and did you see the Lions v Saints game?

I recall the Lions being 4 scores down and on RedZone they said the game was lost, but Detroit pulled within 7 points at 38-45, before the Saints scored again to kill the game.

Real drama and also in the Bears game too and the Jets, Patriots matchup.

The 49'ers have been playing hard all season long.

I'm not a big NFL fan but watched bits over the years on Sky and it's very sad to hear of the passing of Kevin Cadle, great presenter!

Nothing lucky about it, the way the Phins rallied in the 2nd half was worthy of the win. Falcons were damn near atrocious though on all three phases of the ball, that’s the worst I have seen them play under Dan Quinn. No fight on the D and Matty ice is a shadow of the player last year, he just seems to panic every game in tight situations. Unfortunately now next week is a must win for us!
