I felt dirty but I sort of wanted Cowboys to beat Eagles. Just don't want the birds to run away with the NFC East.

In the end it's always nice to see "Dem Boyz" get beat though.

If anyone wants to see something impressive check out what happened at the end of the Chiefs drive just before HT last night. Quality by Butker/chiefs

Only saw YouTube highlights but Mahomes did some usual magic stuff. Herbert also looked very good

Imagine getting sent off 6 seconds into a game for spitting at someone

That made the game rather closer than it otherwise would have been, i think. Hurts looked good, but his passing options were pretty limited throughout, i thought.
Good to see the Chargers beating KC.
Media bigging-up Aaron Rodgers 4 TD passes but Steelers only won courtesy of a last-minute field goal!
Giants are going to struggle unless Wilson gets some protection from the O-line! I think he's past it to be starting. Not the greatest business.

Did anyone see that shitshow on Channel 5? Jay-zus what a pile of crap. I would rather have had more adverts than the third-rate game show. Good to see live NFL on telly, but i won't be hurrying back unless the Birds are playing.

Not to many surprises week 1 except how easy the Packers beat the Lions.
Ravens - Bills a rollercoaster - shows the difference between the genuine elite QBs worth the big money and the rest

The Pack looked really good. If Love can find his targets that easily for the rest of the season they will do well!

Happy enough with JJ's first outing. Interception will be a wake-up call about stepping up to the NFL. Need Darrisaw back quick because the back up LT left JJ exposed.
NFC North going to tough this year.

Looked like it was going to be a horror show for him and Vikings but great come back. Shows he’s got that mental toughness, impressive especially for someone so young. Reckon O’Connells an ideal coach for him

First half and chunk of the 3rd quarter the game was coached wrong - both sides of the ball. Some poor drops didn't help JJ either (don't normally see Jefferson drop many). But it was much like his draft scouting report - mentally tough and learns quickly (even during a game).

I don't quite know how Chicago lost that, to be honest! Williams looked so dominant, and was really mobile in getting away from the pocket when he needed to. Vikings just covered his targets so well, i guess. McCarthy looks like the real deal, though.

we closed the outsides and forced him to stay in the pocket. His progression reads are still really slow. also we ran the ball better 2nd half. Addison being suspended is a big dent in our offense.

I'm looking forward to the Chiefs-Eagles game this week. Looks like Jalen Carter is going to get a fine rather than a suspension, so reacquainting himself with Mahomes (in a sporting manner) will be fun to watch!
Good luck to the Vikings for the season!

To me it looks like Williams is a hinderance to Chicago and they would win more with a QB that is less maverick and does the simple things right.

Some of the Week 2 games puts things into perspective a bit more. Bears ran the Pack pretty close but got humiliated by Detroit. They were saying how great Aaron Rodgers was for the Steelers by sneaking past NYJ, but they were both well beaten yesterday, and Dallas only won in overtime against a Giants team that got restricted to 2 FGs against Washington last week.

Did the Raiders seriously beat the Pats last week? They were rubbish last night against LAC! I'm guessing they have no back-up quarterback, as Geno Smith was pants. They used up 11 minutes to gain 64 yards in 18 plays in the second half, then got picked off! He broke a whole bunch of records last year for the Seahawks, which presumably earnt him his trade to LV, but man he was bad! Maybe it's the whole offensive unit??

If the average American is anything to go by, the rules are to drink as many beers and eat as many calories as humanly possibly while a sporting pursuit goes on in the background!

4 chances to advance the ball 10 yards - if you don't possession turns over.

Nice to see that a Washington team with a lot of injuries can blow away the raiders.

Yeah. Mariota can be a very good WB, when he's on his game. He's just prone to a lot of mistakes

So glad he managed to keep that in check for the most part last night.

I'm not sure that a result against the Raiders is any barometer of your success - they were horrific last week. I think they were lucky to draw them when they have so many injuries.
Philly got a bit lucky with all the FG blocks - they were getting booed by their fans in the first half - but Hurts managed to find something in the second half. Rams took Barkley pretty much out of the game, unlike the play-off game in the snow when he destroyed them.
Chiefs looked pretty ineffectual against the Giants (only FGs in the first half), but Russell Wilson is a liability against a half-way decent defense.

No idea what a WB is.

Either a Wide Back or Warner Brothers

I obviously meant QB

Bit of a dog's breakfast of a weekend, I would say. Commanders need Daniels back. How the hell did Bears win that game with the number of mistakes by Williams (did you see his huge sigh of relief when they blocked the final FG attempt?)? Oh yeah, they were playing LV!!!
Eagles nearly threw it away but stay at 4-0. 49ers lost to Carolina - WTF??
Cam Ward looks to be the worst #1 Draft pick for a while - Titans shutout against HOUSTON???
Good result for Steelers over the Vikings.

Tbf, fucking Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, etc would look inept with that Titans OL. Not a good situation for a young QB.

As my significant other is a huge Broncos fan, we are looking forward to their game tonight, hopefully can get it done.
