It looks like the teams had doubts about him and it didn't help him.

He's not as good as he says he is but he's better than Slough or Gabriel

Got to wonder what impact the NIL money and exposure is having on some of these players. Sanders reportedly earned 6 million in his time at Colorado, gets crazy coverage because of who his dad is (that impacted his earnings as well). Going to be a circus wherever he lands up.

Burrow was nailed on first pick though and most had Daniels second so there was no point.

From what I’ve read Moore quite liked Saunders but just thought Slough would be a better fit as he’s a bit more athletic and nfl ready (old). Never even heard of Gabriel !

Saunders should never have dropped this low though. Crazy.

If he's still there when we pick at beginning ofround 5 I'd take him as we need a back up and I reckon KOC could make something out of him - unless there's something big that NFL teams know and everyone else doesn't yet.

well maybe it's no surprise the Browns took him after all they did blow the QB cap market to pieces when they took on another dubious character - Deshaun Watson!!

Considering we only had 5 picks it's been a decent draft - 2 probable starters and a rotational pick for year 1 and a backup QB. Assuming we've a couple of free agency deals for secondary cover. Plus adding Jordan Mason for a 6th rounder should be factored in.

Washington are in Madrid but I'll be in Thailand at the time so thats a chance missed.

So many are playing in Europe now it'll probably be a short wait.

I see Trump has said he may block Washington's new stadium plans if they don’t drop Commanders and become the Redskins again!

Feels like that administration is working overtime to desperately try and throw up culture war items to try and distract from Trump's associations with Jeffrey Epstein and his apparent desire for Epstein documents to remain out of the public eye.

I fancy Washington to win the NFC East this year.

Unfortunately not, we should never underestimate the lengths he will go to create divisions, there was also an item on BBC website that Ellen DeGeneres has moved to UK as she is worried that Trump may reverse same sex laws!

My son has said he fancies going to an NFL & NHL game around Christmas & new year. Does anyone know of any companies that do organised tours for this, maybe including accommodation?

Try the local team website for the tickets. I got Jets and Knicks tickets last season pretty easily and Nets tickets were $25-30 for one game

Check out ‘city passes’ for your destination because the New York one could be used Yankees tickets - which I’d have done if it were in season.

It’s probably easier and more affordable to get NBA, NHL, NFL and MLB tickets than Premiership football for a tourist Liverpool/Man U fan.

If you can wait a little into the season- teams that start badly their ticket prices tend to plummet even for the holidays

Never had a problem getting tickets on resale sites over there having said that I’ve not gone over Xmas. Sure if it’s a massive game between big rivals it might be different but shouldn’t have any issues. Have a great time if/when you go

ps only caveat would be around thanksgiving over there

Has anyone watched SEC: Any Given Saturday? I watched the 1st episode yesterday and it was good!

College football is massive in the USA and I'd say that the NFL is the gateway drug into the world of NCAA football. Coupled with EA bringing out the CFB video games and the Florida Gators Netflix series (Untold: Swamp Kings), there's better access to the sport for the casual fans.

A warning: it's peak 'Murica'.

Here is where I’ll recommend college football to you and any American football fan in the UK.

A lot of the headline games are on at normal UK times. Ohio v Texas (ranked 1 & 2) are playing at 17:00 and Alabama v Florida State is at 20:30. I’m actually a bit gutted I’ll miss Ohio v Texas because I’ll be travelling back from Oxford!

"thrilled" to see Parsons move to NFC North. Was already going to be a competitive division ( possibly toughest in NFL).

Paid "nothing" for him - 2 1st rounders for one of the youngest rosters out there is a bit of a steal. If Cowboys had traded him pre-draft they'd have had an absolute haul.

Jerry Jones continues to be the worst GM in the NFL.

I’m looking forward to the start of the season but Washington games kick off at shite times here.

Think Shedeur Sanders had "media spotlight/pressure" in college? Arch Manning at Texas carries a bigger family name and is earning nearly 7 million a year at Texas despite throwing under 100 passes in 2 years. Now he's QB of the preseason 1# ranked team. And they've lost their opener.

For those not aware, just googled and found that DAZN are showing NCAA games on their platform. Initially at least they’re free of charge/no subscription (sure the sting is coming later in season) but currently think you can go on and watch some of yesterday and last nights games free

Buckeyes defense came up big. Their offense will improve as the freshman QB gets some more snaps under his belt.

I seen the result and got home from the Oxford game at the end of the 4th quarter but my stream was not having!

I’ll watch the highlights of a few games later on but guessing from the memes, Manning did not do his namesake proud!

I’ll check this out! My dodgy stick was not picking up the Fox and ABC channels last night so didn’t get to catch the end of Ohio v Texas and FSU v Alabama.

I had access to 10-20 games but not the two games I wanted!

Just watched the Alabama game. Not sure if Texans is available

ps only issue is fast forwarding on dazn, well on mine via app on sky anyway. Dazn is just a shit platform…but free college stuff for now so won’t complain. Relieved they didn’t get sole rights to NFL in uk and sky has kept games/redzone

I’ll get on that, is it on the app or a dedicated channel? More importantly, do they show the games live?

FSU and Alabama are two of my favourite teams. The ‘tomahawk chop’ is great and Florida was the first state in the USA that I’ve visited.

As for Bama, Nick Saban is the GOAT and he’s generally an inspirational character.

Channel 5 has announced a deal to broadcast on Sundays 6-9pm, the Super Bowl and the UK/Ireland games. That should hopefully be a big win!

It’s on the app so think you have to set up an account (I had an old one as was a subscriber for the boxing when it first started…then they started ripping everyone off). Just don’t sign up to any subscriptions ! Live games but also then available to watch back
