Darnold continues to bewilder. Combines some excellent play with mind boggling mistakes. One plus he doesn't collapse under the mistakes like he has done in the past. Playing behind a dodgy IOL doesn't help either.

KC stay unbeaten after scraping an OT win against the Bucs.

So bored of them. I hope they don't make it to the Super Bowl let alone threepeat

Mahomes is so good though is he. I can't help but be drawn to him when he's playing. So multi skilled and fast thinking.

It's so impressive, but I think a 3rd Superbowl win is just asking too much.

Amazing really. Mahomes is the magic man and they’ve been so strong defensively. Hopkins could be key signing. Watched highlights earlier and surely Bucs have got to go for a two pointer at the end

Yup. That's exactly what the commentary team were saying.

Worth the gamble to help propel their season and stay in touch at the top.

Should have gambled, as the rushing stats were pretty good and they were moving the ball well for running plays.

I didn’t hear the commentary but it had to be worth a go surely. Crazy decision. Bucs are decent and I say that through gritted teeth as a saints fan (sucker for punishment but at least Allen’s gone, still in cap hell though).

They're winning without him being anywhere near his best. Their defense is really good despite losing several key pieces.

Problem is AFC is pretty poor. NFC isn't great either - our teams are ranked 2 and 3 in the NFC and we're both honest enough to say both teams are works in progress with some fairly big flaws.
At the moment I'll say this is one of the most ordinary years in the NFL for ages. Lions & Chiefs apart i think there are a lot of really average & poor teams about. Hard to say why but I'd point out a lot of teams overpaying QBs and also a lot having really unbalanced rosters through not getting the cap right.

Very true. He is still pulling some rabbits out of the hat though at times.

He's not as potent for sure, but still a huge threat.

I reckon Jared Goff for the Lions is the best QB in the league at the moment. His fake plays are a thing to behold - the defensive lines (even the Packers) are chasing shadows as they don't know who is going to actually carry the ball.
Mahomes definitely struggling on his left ankle, and getting sacked isn't something you see every week.

Eagles are starting to gel, with Hurts finding his runners, but they will get spanked if they come up against a team with a powerful passing game. I think it will be Eagles - Lions in the NFC Champ game. Obviously Chiefs will be favourites for the AFC, but who they go up against is quite open. Bills are top in the East but struggled against a poor Miami. Pittsburgh or Houston next best, which doesn't say much!

BBC Sport only ever refers to them as plain Washington. Don't know why they don't recognise the Commanders name?

Goff is playing well with some amazing plays and consistency and as a Lions fan, enjoying it after years of misery but he is no Mahomes, every team would take him tomorrow if they could.
Not sure if its a poor group of teams this year or just one of those moments when the draft system makes it really competitive and close.

Think there's a lot of poor, imbalanced teams. A lot of overpaid QBs killing some teams competitiveness.
Goff is playing well but some other QBs could do just as well behind that excellent O line. That O line is great at pass protection but also excellent for run blocking - that's really opened their offensive. Also Ben Johnson is a very good OC - has to be the next "young gun" Head coach somewhere next season.

Darnold dreadful. If we had a backup he'd have been pulled. Head had gone. Fortunately defense gave Jags next to nothing.

Washington just committed what would probably equate to the keeper throwing the ball in his own net over here.

Time running out. 4th and 1 for the Steelers. They pretend to go for it in the hope some Commanders numpty jumps early and guess what.....that was exactly what one did.

Game over.

How did Denver not get that over the line, some great close games again yesterday, the Commanders mistake was unreal, shame for the rookie and ruined what could have been an interesting test for Daniels with a minute on the clock from deep.
Good win for the Lions, don't know how we kept them out for so long, Dan interview at the start of the second half saying need a few more turnovers and as he was talking, they delivered, unbelievable timing for TV interviewer.

Lions totally destroyed the Jags. Eagles struggled to get past them a couple of weeks ago, which might be some kind of benchmark. Goff is well ahead of Hurts as MVQB.
Good win for the Bills, making KC look mediocre.

Chiefs loss been coming. Teams have learnt to keep Mahomes contained inside which has seriously diminished his impact.
Lions showing the results of a 3 year rebuild coming to fruition.
Still think it's a poor year when you look at the overall quality of teams.
Vikings shouldn't be an 8-2 team with the holes in our roster (weak IOL, below par corners). Play calling hiding roster weaknesses.Falcons (torched by the Broncos) & Cardinals leading really poor divsions.

I watched the highlights of the Vikings-Titans game. So many unforced errors. Was going to say earlier that i thought the NFC Championship game would likely be an all North contest, but MN must have had a really easy run of games to be only a game behind Detroit!! Ravens-Steelers was another strange game. I'm guessing the defenses were dominant, but generally low on quality.

Vikings started with a tough schedule Inc 49ers, Packers and Texans. Lost a close one to Lions - could/should have won it. On the wrong end of terrible official calls against the Rams that cost them that game. Their AFC division games are against AFC South so that's easy - but same for Lions and Packers.
But Vikings have had the 3rd most difficult schedule according to rankings.

Oh. I think something has gone wrong with the system here.

I am pretty certain that when you sign up to SBT you have to state which NFL team you support and if you say Cowboys, you are immediately banned and not allowed to post.

Hopefully, it's just a temporary glitch and you will be gone by lunchtime.

Couldn’t enjoy the downfall of the cowboys more.

They will never go far until Jerry hands over the reigns or pops his clogs. He’s constantly making bad GM decisions.

I think calling the Cowboys "America's team" has always peed off every other team in the NFL and their fans too.

Daniel Jones released: New York Giants part ways with struggling quarterback

The New York Giants have "mutually agreed" to terminate the contract of quarterback Daniel Jones.

Bad QB, bad contract. Got paid because of one play-off win against the Vikings - who had a terrible defense that season. Was probably going to be released then had that one game - which has cost the Giants nearly 100 million dollars.

I went to the Jets v Colts when I was in NY last week and it was such a good experience! A great game too!

If anyone is going out to the states, I highly recommend getting a ticket to any game!
