However, since "PSB group" had his little meeting with uncle Nick from Wasps, his twitter has been embarrassingly one sided against guess who....yes, SISU!
He refuses to say what was said but has obviously been well and truly sucked in (off!) by what his new mate Nick from Wasps has told him. He retweeted anything remotely anti sisu and has even jumped in on a few Lies Reid comments in support!
That account is now embarrassing!
Definite action at a wasps game is required.
I'm sure we can get the trust, cov tel and cwr on board to publicise like they did with the marches a few years back!... oh, wait a minute.... :-/

Agree. And if even that small gathering was enough to prompt wasps/Eastwood in to some sort of response even if it was a meeting with someone who swallowed his bullshit hook line and sinker it makes you wonder what a decent protest could achieve

He put me ignore on twitter when I called his group a quartet formally a quintet when he admitted the group is 4 people but was 5 and one dropped out as he was busy.

Is it one family or something?

I'd politely disagree here, OSB, I think the price primarily reflects the risk. When Wasps were flying, the bond price soared; since the accounting mishaps, a more accurate picture of the real financial state, and the lack of success on the pitch, the price has tumbled.

Don't get me wrong, a no-deal Brexit in particular is a grim financial picture (regardless of the Boris spin), and will inevitably depress the market in the short-term, imho. But I don't think it's the primary driver here (again, imho).

Honestly have no idea. However it is now so one sided it is embarrassing.
Well and truly "PR'd" by Mr Richardson from Wasps.

Turn who against us? wasps fans don’t give a shit about us anyway. Any inconvenience and discomfort for them is alright with me

Fair enough duffer but the bond price doesn't cause them a day to day issue.

Seriously how much would they make a year from F and B?
Also if it is so important how come Wasps are struggling with 2 lots of F&B?
Because they have about 12 games a season with free tickets galore, they have a 32k stadium to upkeep and now they are now no longer in the European league top level and they are still in the shit. Fook knows how they do it. Our input doesnt touch the huge hole they have to repay. Just as we were when we were relegated and had a 1.2M a year rental to pay plus wages etc.
Let them have it. A stadium we could rent etc a sensible size wouldnt hinder us as much as a 14 year old stadium in the middle of nowhere that fans cant park within miles and is a ball ache to get to and its due a refurb.

But any ground you build will more then likely be in the middle of nowhere, land is to expensive in the City or do you think that bit comes free how much will it cost just to acquire the land for a ground and nothing else?

We are paying half a million pounds now in league 1.
How much will we pay if we get promoted and where will we play?

Last time we wanted to come home the A444 (jimmy hill way) was a wash with sky blue ribbons, they were everywhere .... imagine replacing those ribbons with posters and banners saying ‘boycott the wasps’ ‘bring city home take the wasps home’ or something along those lines, get them in the city centre, Nuneaton, Bedworth, Lem etc stick them up everywhere, shop windows, lampposts on bridges even on accessible brown Ricoh arena signs’ etc etc ... to get the Ricoh back or stand any chance the wasps need to lose money and want us back. This would hopefully start to effect there decreasing pockets and damage their much worked on reputation that’s now under the microscope after failed talks

Dis-agree - the main thing is we win, for me it doesn't matter where we are playing (within reason)
The Ricoh has never really been ours, it certainly never felt like home

This would be great, but the council and our own supporters trust will be vocally against this.

Yes Birmingham certainly is in reason for the time being taking all things into account. I think you are forgetting we don't own a stadium, the Ricoh is not ours and I for one hope we never return back under wasps ownership.

I think a lot of people would prefer to stay at St Andrews than return to the Ricoh as Wasps’ tenants. I think if you tried it, you might agree. Of course I could be way off with that.

My point is, and it's been said by me and others before, is that whatever SISU have done wrong, whether through incompetence, or maliciously or any other reason, the sale of ACL to Wasps changed the future of CCFC forever.

We Must get back to Coventry.. I hate wasps and your right it's not our ground but we have to get back to Cov under the right deal ASAP.. Also let's see SISU BUILD A GROUND.. Or make actual real moves rather than bluster which the council cocks can easily bat away

Out of curiosity do you actually live in Coventry?

I don't think that's the prevailing view at all. I think there are quite a few who are prepared to accept an exile of one season if it means we return on our own terms, rather than cave in to the unrealistic demands that are being made to return immediately. Ultimately though, it cannot be a long term arrangement. Everyone knows that and nobody wants it.

Either way we're tenants at someone else's stadium. So IF the option were be to return to the Ricoh for the same rent/conditions asin Brum or staying at St Andrews, pithc issues aside, it'd only make sense to go back for the higher crowds and therefore revenue.

Plus if you think about it were providing funds to a potential direct competitor. If this season were to go well (or theirs badly) we could be increasing Birmingham's finances and thus competitiveness. With Wasps at least we wouldn't have to worry about them using the £500k or whatever we gave them to buy a player we wanted. For example imagine if they had signed Bright in the summer for the amount we're paying them to rent St Andrew's - that'd been galling wouldn't it? We'd have essentially paid for Bright to join a local rival.

Yes I live in Coventry and have been going to watch Cov for over 30 years. I am not disputing for one minute that Cov shouldn’t ultimately be playing in Coventry but at this moment, in in time, in our current situation I would rather be watching Cov at St Andrews rather then the fucking Ricoh. Fuck knows Why that makes me dangerous.

Is love to go back to the Ricoh, but not just to prop up sponsorship with a £20,000,000 noose around our necks

How many times does it have to be proven, SISU HAVE made approaches to the council for land to build a new stadium. The council denied it then Duggins slipped up and admitted it, the council still have not replied and no intention to, so what choice did SISU have THIS time. Not saying they would build one, but until there bluff is called we can never say for sure. MR seems to believe them and he is privileged to a lot more info than we are.
