Not into it at all this year. Haven’t even got the decorations out, personal reasons for that.

The geek in my wants some of those curtain lights you can program animations on, anyone know where you’d pick some of those up? Might just have them with PUSB on instead

From friday night I’ve watched jingle all the way ,the Gavin and Stacey Christmas special from a couple of years ago , national lampoons Christmas vacation and the men behaving badly Christmas special . Starting to feel a bit festive , I work with children that have life limiting health conditions and go to some of the specialist learning schools in and around the region . This week coming up Is great in the schools and next week I’m Santa at one of the respite centres I work at . None of the kids realise I’m Santa and then tell me about a nice a time they had visiting him . It’s very rewarding

Fair play Daz… I count other peoples money and can’t think of one time where my work has added value to someone’s life as a result of it…

It’s about this time of year I separate from the wife and kids in the evenings and weekends. They’ve started their Xmas film marathons at evenings and weekends. They’ll literally watch anything on Prime, Netflix and Sky movies with anything in the title that is remotely linked to Xmas, including all the awful Hallmark movies.

Looking forward to it though. Have some holiday to use before the end of the year so I have an extended Xmas break, we’re around the outlaws on Xmas day this year so we don’t have the headache of cooking for everyone and cleaning up afterwards so all I have to do is eat drink and relax.

On a half day Friday, daughter comes back from Uni Thursday , out with our neighbours for a meal Saturday .

Inadvertently upset my wife yesterday, our daughters working Christmas eve till 11pm and Christmas day till 5.30, so i said I'd cook her dinner and leave it in the microwave anyway after a consultation session we are having dinner at 6 on Christmas day. Which is bloody ridiculous in my opinion but anything for a quiet life

We never understood half the jokes on that show but we laughed anyway as we assumed it was something dirty that we shouldn't be laughing at.
