I guess I shouldn't be so judgemental and will also give you the benefit of the doubt.

My hope is that we get Sean Dyche, when he was at Watford they played good football, with young players.

More chance of getting Prince Harry than Princess Anne! I hear he likes to do things out of the ordinary!

Peter Shirtliff. His team took a battrering the first half, he got them in at half-time and made some changes. He must also have given them one hell of a talking to! He would not cost a lot and seems to have a bright future.

Southgate? Oh dear the malaise that's already at the club would get worse with a personality like him at the helm!

He talks a good game but he is rubbish.

I think we need someone who can kick a few people around and demand attention and demand results in the shorter term to get us out of this league. Someone who players simply could not argue with, club officials would have a hard time arguing with. Someone who could destroy the club (but that's all but happened already, so the only way is up) or could be the catalyist for the good times rolling back.

Step forward Graeme Souness.

No not my first choice either but maybe an intelligent gamble.

Have SISU installed a 'yes man revolving door' at the Ricoh or something?

My choice would be Harry Redknapp but thats dreaming. In that case I would have Mick McCarthy. Football man through and through and gives a shit.

Dont think they will bring any one in,not yet.Bet shaw and carsley will be asked to carry on until they bugger it up,Its a rash decision to sack Thorn this early,i thought it would be around october time before he got the push,Unless of course they had already got some one waiting in the wings and they just waited for a good excuse(as they see it) to make the change,As for who should be our new manager,I have not got a clue,

2 and a half seasons in management
1st : 12th in the Premier League
2nd : 19th in the Premier League
3rd : Sacked while Middlesbrough where 4th and one point off the top, duly slumped afterwards

Doesn't look that bad to me

Realistically IF they go outside the club it won't be a big name, or even a middling name, manager. It will be a Brian Laws or a Phil Brown at best (in terms of 'biggish' name). I'd take Paulo Souza if I could pick though, but what about Andy Morrell as a shout..?

Shawsy and Carso would not put one extra bum on a seat, or even cause a ripple among Coventry's missing thousands, we need a genuinely exciting manager to get us out of this mess.and generate some interest, passion and media exposure. Step forward Gary Neville, just my opinion.

Would be a really good move, but is enjoying his millions made while working with Sky Sports, and the viewers seem to enjoy his overreactions to everything. Like your thinking though.

Just to add a little spice to the game - have we thought about foreign managers? Is Sven Goran Eriksson available?

I'd rather Southgate than Blackwell.
