The new ground (2 Viewers)

Just been reading about the legal requirements of building a new football ground . It's not as straight forward as mr fisher makes out . The planning permission must not only be agreed by the relevant council but also more importantly by the government.They must also prove that they will be involved in a regeneration project in the area. This could involve housing development or involvement in community work.If it was granted then the area would expect some investment back.the money for building a new ground is usually gained from loans.Tottenhams application for a new ground was turned down as it was not beneficial to the area.so what chance has a company that is 70 million pound in debt got of getting government.approval for a new ground.cant see them agreeing to having two grounds so close to each other.

Haven't we had a government member already say they oppose the idea of a new ground in the area.not looking good is it fisher

Is it possible that this is why CCC has been so adamant that a sale has to involve commitment to carry on regeneration of the area ?

Even if they did I'd say its a no go.a company that is already 70 million in debt would haveto borrow say 20-30 million to build a ground plus investment in the regeneration of the area.your looking at nearly 110 million pounds of debt.and the ground wouldn't even belong to the club it would be sisu's.

Oh that alright then, they can just put on the application form that they are going to sell it and get the buyer to do the regeneration!

Obviously ,that be where Haskell comes in. if we can examine all sides information, that is /has been quoted many times as a falldown on the SISU Bid.
It could be CCC reluctance or based on directives from the Initial planning approval.

The playing budget in our last championship season was planning to fail and we did !!!!

When he travelled down to talk to the fans at Ryton from the cloud he lives on he stated it will need a £5m up front cash injection plus a further £12m in loans. He didn't directly mention where/who this money is coming from. When asked he just said: "equity".

The cost to build The KP in Fester was £35m. The KC in Hull cost £44m. These costs are for the "entire project" much like the £110-120m for the Ricoh development.

Plus land we have to assume ,given that Rotherham paid £20-£25M. for a 12k. capacity the figures look shy of that and don't look to account for interest.

Lets be honest SISU and Fisher know deep down this plan is pure fantasy. There is no way the plan for a new stadium is viable, it fails on every point concerning taking the club forward. For a few extra pie and beer sales which will take the club 200 years to repay the initial outlay before making profit everyone on here can see its madness in the extreme to go ahead.

Fisher knows this ,or he is as bad at maths as a two year old, or SISU are using the same firm that did the maths on how to run and sustain a football club when they bought us. They have no intention of building a bloody new stadium, its all about mind games they are playing with ACL/Council ,and yet again the fans, who they clearly don't give a shit about

Based on losses of £12M. last year under their input i'd wager around 70%
