We lose two in a row and have a couple of postponed matches and it seems like the playoff dream may well be over. Now it seems all those who wanted the club to fail are on here moaning about our failure.

So many posting on here want the club to fail under SISU's tenure, yet here you are moaning about the recent defeats like people who actually care?

Make your bloody minds up!

You're obviously not a proper football fan, 3 wins on the spin and we are on for promotion and a few loses and it's the end of the world. This is how fickle football fans are around the world and not just with us. However, the fact that we don't have a home stadium, the fact that we play 34 miles away from home, the fact that our home support has been decimated, the fact that our owners are simply looking for a profitable way out, the fact that we have no real investment in the team and the fact that we are divided as a fan base also has something to do with it I would imagine. Apart from that though I'm tickety boo.

I think you're confusing people that want sisu to fail as wanting the club to fail. I think you may also be confused in thinking both mean the same. To many if sisu fail and then fuck off this would be the biggest victory for the club in a long time.

A bit like people confusing fans that go to sixfields to support the team also supporting sisu's actions in taking the club there in the first place. With the possible exception of RFC who is clearly either a wum or a sisu plant.

We have a good young squad full of local / academy lads who will continue to improve.

We appear to have good young manager, who's the looking like the best manager we've had for years.

Baffling isn't it? I can't think of any reasons for a Coventry fan to feel negative at the moment. :thinking about:

I'll give you three:

1) We have a team of local, young, hungry talent that have the Club at heart and are willing to give their all for it, not old timers looking for a wage.
2) Arguably this season we have played some of the most fantastic Football in recent memory and have scored loads of goals.
3) Our away support has been magnificent, always in huge numbers and always vocal.

Will this suffice?

This season has certainly been a marvellous show of the CCFC Rollercoaster!

The Question is, is the CCFC Rollercoaster like Alton Towers' Oblivion and have one direction from here? :thinking about:

The deserved negativity about our situation has just been kept at bay by the great performance of our young squad and great manager, however now those peformances have dried up and the hope they brought gone the negativity flows back. There are still some positive people who think well next year our great young squad and manager will be able to have a good go at promotion, but since we are likely to lose Moussa, Murphy etc etc and quite easily could be under an embargo then thats wholy unrealistic.

For all the damage northampton has caused a significant amount would have been negated had we somehow managed to get promoted, so the hope of that kept alot of negativity away, that hope (as unrealistic as it always was) has now gone.

Paxi, to be honest it is really hard to be positive as a city fan these days. Ever since SISU came on board, we have been going downhill at a rapid rate. Agree there maybe slim chance of the playoffs which is the only positive feeling I have for this beloved club. If I sound like I am moaning then I apologise but can you really blame the fans for the way they are feeling at the moment.

We were going downwards before Sisu came here it's not a trend they have brought with them to CCFC.

Number 3) is a misconception.

In your view perhaps, but I'd argue that as we have one of the best away average attendances outside the Premier League*

We were in the top 6 last time I checked.

Edit: We are currently 6th above the top side in the Championship only the usual suspects are above us and we were 4th until Saturday.

Give 'em some credit mate - they've managed to accelerate a steady decline into a complete freefall.

We've gone from the brink of administration into full blown liquidation, from aiming for promotion in the Championship to avoiding relegation in League 1, and from Coventry to Northampton.

It's not exactly the thrill of the riding a rollercoaster any more, it's more like the grisly compulsion of watching a train crash!

I agree with that, we are declining quicker than a Bugatti Veyron can reach it's top speed!

As I said previously CCFC has been a ticking time bomb for several years, Sisu just - as you said Duffer - accelerated the process of it all, I still think personally it may have been beneficial for CCFC to of gone into Admin way back when Sisu were going to take over, at least that way there was a guaranteed chance of a fresh start and many of the facts being out in the open, Sisu would have been wiser to you would of thought.

Sisu are an absolute disaster. I think only Tim Fisher coming around to your house with a chainsaw and wiping out your family would make you see them in a poor light.

So we weren't in a downwards spiral before SISU? Relegation?

It's a double whammy as the team performances have kept spirits up during this whole sorry episode.

Let's explore that Spoinkop and we shall see. CCFC were "minutes away from administration" when Sisu took over* since then as I said to duffer our decline has been rapid no doubt as they have added their own mismanagement to our issues, but let's not kid ourselves since we were relegated from the Premier League which has been 12 full seasons we have only finished above 15th on four of those occasions and only once in the top 10, so to suggest that we weren't on a decline on the Footballing side of things would be a understatement.

* This would also imply that we were troubled financially.

As I said before we were a ticking time bomb waiting to happen.

It's the fact that they divided supporters by taking the club out of Coventry.

They did well to get the debts reduced, including lowering the stadium rent, but now they have gone rotten.

That has nothing to do with the question?

Answer the question you divisive arse. ;)

If being realistic about our club over the past few years (pre sisu aswell, although I prefer not to get into that argument) comes across as being negative then there is good reason. The club has been poorly run for as long as I can remember, with a few decent teams/ seasons sprinkled across all that time to detract from the gloom. Supporting our club at the moment is like entering an abyss of despair! (or am I being a bit over the top!)

For me the recent losses are no surprise, what was a surprise was the fact we were in the playoff running for so long. What do we expect, the team to be heavily invested in when there is no income coming through the door? Was never going to happen, we dont knpow how much the debt has expanded since we moved out of Cov thats for sure but i was expecting us to do a Plymouth, Portmouth and drop down the league and through the trapdoor again. Yes we all know it is SISU's fault on this end but people cannot expect them to bring in quality players when there is no money quite simply.

What happens next season is the biggest worry, we lose Elvis, Wilson etc we are screwed quite simply.

I think the original post has been hijacked somewhat.
I merely suggested that those on here who want the club to fail and some say they even want a phoenix club are now on here bemoaning the fact we have lost a couple and we look like we have missed the playoff push? Surely those people ought to be happy?

So it goes without saying we all love our club regardless of owner? So lets get behind the team then regardless of owner?
Simply waiting for the club to fail completely and wait in hope that new owners would come along is pie in the Sky.
Support what we have and draw a line under the past.

That does not mean going to sixfields if it's not for you but when you come on here be consistent in your views. You either want us to win and succeed or to fail. You can't just moan more when it suits you or when we lose a couple of games.

For what it's worth I support my club and don't really care about the council or ACL. I want the best for my club. Our owners will not be here for ever but the Ricoh will be. Our football club needs to have the Ricoh it was built for. I support the current owners to that end because it's right for my club.

What a load of utter rubbish. When the useless entity that are sisu arrived at the club we where a well supported
Championship team. Now we are 7 points off relegation to the lowest tier of the Football League, and oblivion.

We used to have players with a transfer value but they rapidly got sold and did not get replaced. We now have
a bunch of kids trying to compete with seasoned professional's.We cannot even get an experienced striker even
on loan, just more young wannabies hoping to make a name.

We don't even have a stadium in our home City to play our games in,and our pathetic owners are on about
building a toy one again outside of our home City. Clueless came to mind but our owners have left the clueless
far behind with their utter stupidity.
