...so said John Clarke, upon the formation of the new board led by Paul Clouting in early 2011, which (along with Clarke himself) featured orange garden gnome lookalike Ken Dulieu, SISU money man Onye Igwe and Canadian Twitterati business "guru" Leonard Brody

Fast forward less than 2 years and all have gone:

Clarke - the "fan's man on the board" to a ceremonial non-executive role

Brody - drifted out of the club after offering himself up for abuse on Twitter

Clouting - lasted a couple of months before suddenly vanishing in a puff of smoke

Dulieu- back to Portugal after a spell as Director Football, subs' bench specialist and chief bottle washer once Clouting had gone

Igwe - tonight it's announced that Igwe has left CCFC and SISU, no doubt made to pay for his failures in the same way that Darth Vader used to dispatch hapless Imperial commanders after their failed attempts to capture the Millennium Falcon...

Add to that Andy Thorn booted out of the club "for not meeting his own targets" 3 unbeaten league games into the season, and that's a dirty half dozen who have been through the City revolving door.

With entire executive management structures, whatever their merits (or lack of) departing, it does go some way to explaining the paralysis at the club and the inability to turn round the sinking ship that is the Sky Blue Titanic....

i just spoke to a bloke after the forum,
what do you think about W & F, i asked,
his reply was,
W = guarded bloke who's trying to keep a job,
F = slimy, unbelievable, & shallow,
not my opinion just a CCFC fan

Oh I forgot, Steve Harrison and the chief financial guy left too, as did that bloke who lasted a single day. As Jas Sohdi went as well.
