Yep - going for top scorer in Division - couldn't understand that decision - can't believe Calum wouldn't have wanted it, despite missing one recently

Also a few games ago, wilson had scored 2 & we won a penalty, but Baker took it. Why? The guy was on his hatrick??

Regular penalty taker takes precedence over individual stats generally.

Should be whoever wins the penalty gets to take it. Especially when it's them who's been prevented a goal scoring opportunity.

Unless they're a defender who just happens to be in the wrong box. Then someone else should take it. Unless it was big Mo.

Still remember when shef took one despite Stern John being on 2 goals at Ricoh. Would have made Stern the first player to get a hatrick at Ricoh (which Eastwood finally got, he's the only city player to get 3 at Ricoh).
Good quiz question that

Couldn't have been as bad as Clingan's against Leicester. First touch of the ball aswell. I was fuming.

We've missed quite a few in the last 2-3 seasons - juke, clingan, sheff, Clarke, Wilson and baker.

On a side note ricky lambert has scored all 34 pens he's taken to Southampton...

He scored something like 5 for Stockport in the season he joined us, so I'd assume many before that too.

He took an even worse one at home to Swansea. Smashed it miles wide and didn't look bothered.

Chipped it down the middle and the keeper just stood his ground

Why should he have let Callum take it? If Baker has not missed a pen (taking someone else's stats so not totally sure) and is the regular penalty taker and Callum has already missed one this season, what is your thinking?
