Massive thanks to the thousands who turned out today - great to see the Sky Blue Army out in force in Coventry. Thanks to the Coventry Transport Museum for the Bus, to Catherine of Earlsdon (Lady Godiva), the police who were great and joined in the spirit of the occasion and everyone else who made all this possible. Then more fool them. If the politics can't be sorted they will never see Coventry City playing in Coventry again. It's politics that took us away and only politics can bring us back.

no it wasn't, it was a greedy hedge fund who wanted to get a stadium on the cheap and had no intention of making a fair rent deal that took us away and that hedge fund leaving that would bring us back.

Torch grendil and rfc free post so far. Conspicuous by their absence. Not only condone this by going but not even a mention of being there to support today. No doubt there will be convening excuses but if it was a match in Northampton they would.

Is there really any need to do this kind of thing?

Exactly what I was thinking. It's like 8 year olds trying to antagonise each other.

Hey posters! What a day, today! Amazing! I'm so proud to be a part of it! It was difficult keeping up Twist and Shout for that long but was so worth it! Aside from family, the proudest moment of my life!

It was good today. Even my wife went. Only because she wanted to go to Ikea afterwards mind. Great show of support and good coverage from what I've seen so far.

It was a great turn out, and most importantly, one of unity, so I'll ignore the jibes for once.

It was a great event, well done for all who organised. I took my two kids for their first and hopefully last protest. Now lets get these fuckers talking and get us home.

usual drivel from you Grendel.

Not will be?

It was a great day City fans walking together in unity who knows if it had the desired effect doesn't really matter.

What matters is that the Club is not dead yet and the fans are still there.

I doubt the march will change the minds of our industrious owners as they don't really give a toss for the fans or the club.

But hopefully it will show them we are not going away and will keep hounding them until they are gone.......Long Gone.

From what I've seen and read on here, it was a great day ( no I wasn't there, but there are videos and reports ) and I loved the 'SISU out' chanting and "let down by the football league" - even if one can say "yes, but....". The fact is emotion was shown, thousands of people got off their arses and showed spirit.

No doubt Tim and/or Joy will have seen thousands of people united against them and their ridiculous actions. The ML Meetings, constant digs and unter bullshit have brought absolutely nothing. The people who were less anti SISU - some would say pro SISU - are still there despite the hammering they took in court. The anti SISU people who ML spoke to listened to him, maybe gave his words a thought, but after the JR defeat and confirmation of SISU's plan delivered in the judgement, are back to where they were.

I would think the desired effect is there. Joy must now realise that this is not an obscure medium sized business that she can bully into surrender and knock it's creditors into writing off their loans.

Whichever way this pans out, SISU are in the limelight once again, and as usual in a negative light.

Their open letter did get reported in the media as if they really wanted to get talks going - although they basically reiterate their known position - which was it's main aim. It took the heat off slightly with the people who don't know the füll story.

Fair play to everyone who took part and I think Grendel should at least say something positive to the people who don't just sit behind a keyboard whilst our club dies.

7,000 up on last years 6,000 (although I thought last years was 12,000 for some reason).

Good work to all involved. I couldn't be there as I've been travelling to the US today but whilst at Gatwick this morning, I was tweeting the hell out of the event...re-tweeting and favouriting many tweets. I even had the most retweets ever on one tweet (only 12 but at least it was getting seen).

Even tweeted Barack Obama to put a shout out for the SBA today but alas, nothing.

Anyway, well done to all involved...by all accounts, a sea of positivity in an ocean of sh*t.

Well done to everyone yesterday, those on the march and messages from the people who could not be present.
It was a massive show of unity and sent a message that we are a proud club and the potential to be great again.

Stood on the 87 fa cup bus, playing Twist and Shout, In Our Coventry Homes and While The Sky Is Blue to thousands of my fellow City fans. It doesn't get much better than that, mate!
