Bloody hell. Just read that about him taking notes...if he's beaten 51 other candidates for an interview i'd have to really question the selection criteria

It was explained that Staunton is a Sunderland scout and that he is (thankfully) not in the running for the job.

I would imagine that Mark Robins and Kevin Blackwell are on the list.
Can't see Lee Carsley would aply, I'm sure he wants some time as an assistant first.
