Haven't renewed and despite coming out of the umbongo, with talk of nearly signing players nothing has convinced me that it won't be another season of struggle, with a poorer squad playing in an even more empty stadium, surrounded by very disillusioned fans with even more ridulous and mundane post match interviews from AT.

Crazy that they extended the scheme yet did nothing really to change anyones mind or convince them to get a ticket, maybe something will happen tonight or tomorrow

I think the important thing was for the embargo to be lifted before the early bird prices ended, which it has. Will we sign anyone. Hope so, but who knows. I imagine all those who are going to buy STs already have anyway.

Does seem pointless them promising the embargo to be lifted without them getting anybody though?

Not all of us ... all I'm waiting for is a sign that SISU are going to spend some money... anything... the rent, a player (not a free) ... just one small positive .. then I'll commit.. until then .. no I'm sorry it just doesn't add up to anything more than total failure

I'm the same as skyblueman, if I get an ST I will go to every game, going to Millwall & Donny at the end of the season was difficult, not hjust cos we were relegated it just the total lack of direction within the club. I will rephrase that one there is a direction but it is downwards.

They promised to get the embargo lifted before the end of the early bird. They've done that. I genuinely think we will get people in. However, the way some are talking you'd think that the transfer window ends on the 30th June. Believe.

It doesnt look like we'll actually spend money though, people are worried because free's can join clubs on the 1st and there is already a limited amount of capable players and they will be gone if we don't act quickly.

since the "extention" of the early bird was announced, we have...

1) come out of the embargo
2) released expensive Harrison, and got in Shaw on less wages
3) "looked at a few players"
4) Waved goodbye to Craine
5) Still not paid any rent
6) Negotiations with ACL have stopped
7) accounts have been released to show huge losses
8) Admitted that "players will leave" and some will come in

Sorry, missed this one. To be fair, that happens every year. And to every club.

I have tried to convince myself to renew my season ticket but I have failed miserably. Partly because I am still hurting too much from last season, but also because all of the above actions/developments indicate to me a failing business which may have no intention of keeping going. The solitary positive development is recruiting Richard Shaw, but that may just be a sweetener to draw in a few more ticket sales and maintain a facade of business as usual.

I'll be pay-as-we-go this season, taking in the nearest away matches (Yeovil, Bournemouth, Swindon and Portsmouth) and maybe 6-10 home games. I admire and applaud all those who have bought season tickets already, and I hope to rejoin you all some time soon.

Going down in the morning to get mine and the 2 kids to renew, and my father inlaw is taking the plunge, he was a DERBY fan, Came to a few last season and enjoyed it!!! amazing I know but a new season ticket holder joins us at the lowest ebb.... the mind bogles:claping hands:

No body knows whats around the corner, and no matter what I couldn't watch anyone else!!
