Just don't see managers like that anymore Deano. Dare I say had a certain previous incumbent here attempted a pre-training run he would've been gasping for pie soon after.

You could make that call, but its not the one Ranson made. We were just about to get investment and had a couple of big games coming up. Ranson sacked him purely because he had Coleman lined up.

I agree on a stats basis, but his style and overall tenure I found enjoyable. His overall stats are pretty good too, I'm not one for sacking managers after a bad run or even a bad season if overall they're better than the 30% average we normally get.
