So with King gone. Lukas has to pick up the mantle. Do we think he can cope, will he be a success?

I personally think stick him up front with Eastwood or Sheff and he will bang in 15+ this season. Let him take the Pens too and we are looking at 20+.

LONG LIVE THE DUKE.

This move definately makes juke the number 1 striker. Personally ill wait and see who AT brings in untill i decide who to play next to him. Mcsheffery played really well behind the two srikers so if we can get a half decent striker in to play along juke then leave the system as it was.

I think the Juke will shine now. If we did have an old head like Phillips who has a great footballing brain they would work perfectly together!

Oh the grand old Juke of Cov
He scored 10,000 goals
He took us back to the top of the Prem
And we won't come down again
Cause when we go up we'll stay up
And no more will we go down
Cause Jukey shot us to the Premier League
And Birmingham stayed down

While I'm sure he could do a job up top I'd rather keep McSheffrey at the head of the midfield if circumstance allows, he looked impressive there before he got injured.

Jukiewitz (sp - still don't know how spell his name!) is a good prospect and a good young player but asking him to fill King's shoes next season is a bit too much IMO. Also him and Eastwood upfront makes me shudder!

Jukebox, Eastwood and McSheffrey are not prolific goalscorers but can do well if playing with an out an out striker.

Tom do you not think the sheer amount of chances created by the diamond will lead to goals from any championship level striker. We all know Eastwood is capable, but just hasn't delivered for what ever reason. Maybe Thorny will get the best out of him, playing with confidence and good awareness. I have an idea that we WILL find out one way or the other.

I think next season could prove to be a fruitful one for Jutkiewicz, especially if he can be partnered by another quality striker.
Minimum of 12 goals for him. Him and Phillips would be good IMO.

On McSheffrey, I'd only like to see him up front as a last resort. Not because I don't think he can play there, but because he has performed well in the free role and is a very intelligent player when coming from deep.

Eastwood has always played well with a bit of a run in the starting 11. Give him 3 or 4 games to get into gear and he will bang them in!

Gotta agree with this. I think given the supply he will score. He always gets shut out by defenders, but with the Diamond he will make some good runs to get himself infront of GOAL.
