Thought he looked lively and wanted to take people on. Was involved in the goal and a player you genuinely get excited about when he's got the ball. With his crock record can't rely on him being a starter for a full season, but the lad cleary has talent. We've come so far with him, shame money is so tight as I think MR's dilemma is it'd be like changing your lotto numbers when there's a chance they'll come good.

He’s going to be committed to a club that stood by him through his injury nightmares. He’s not going to take the piss with wage demands, surely it’s a win-win all around in terms of building squad depth.

Try tell the manager that who doesn’t use him I think robins would prefer Shipley to stay over Jones

Did you not see him shift it inside and leave the defender standing today drawing the foul ?

It was 3 defenders he ghosted past.

That wasn't really showing pace. It was a good turn though.

There's pace and there's acceleration. I dont think we've seen enough to say how much he's lost from his top speed, but he still looks to have quick acceleration. He did one great bit of skill and a burst of pace past 3 drawing the foul.

Hes physical and strong. Clearly keen to play and make an impact

He’s never been given a chance. He’s not full on 46 game a season championship level but would I rather see him some times than Shipley, Allen and Tavares - well yeah as he offers something

Genuinely don’t get it

Sorry if been mentioned already but isn’t he one of the players that refused to be vaccinated?

Am sure he’s had to isolate more than once for contact with positive players.

If anything’s going to piss someone off its that.

I’d give him a new one year deal. He’s good enough for this league providing he’s fit and gets minutes. He won’t be on high wages either.

He is fully vaccinated
But there was a gap between first and second dose
Some of our senior players are unvaccinated

No he hasn’t. He’s been by and large fit to play for weeks bar a couple where he picked up a strain and probably had covid.

He came on at Bournemouth and grabbed an assist and same today yet in between, not a sniff of game time.

Think he has a chance of staying as a lower earner 2 games a week next season more players needed and club know he is a threat.Like most fans don't know why robins doesn't use the lad it can only be robins sees him as a winger.

Reminds me of one of our old stars Steve Hunt great left peg Hunt switched from left wing to midfield and became one of best left-sided midfielders in the league, sold prematurely and controversially to WBA where he won a couple of England caps.

No one wants him to break down again after the last few years. he clearly has the ability. His cameo today was very good. I like him and want to see him uninjured with a full pre season behind him and then lets see what he can do.
If not loan him out to get up to speed and if he breaks down then, well that wil signal the end. But he has worked hard to be where he is and deserves the chance. He's not exactly costing us much is he?

If he doesn’t even play 90 minutes over a season then I would argue whatever he’s on is too much

I’d keep him. He’s not that expensive and has looked pretty useful when he’s come on this season. From what I’ve seen of him in the 23s he’s worth a contract for that alone. His involvement helps young players progress.

Be interested if the ones that aren’t have spent a greater time missing games than the ones that are…

Agree. He offers something different when he’s on the right cutting in.

I watched some highlights of our league 2 season and forgot how influential he was before his injury (appreciate a very different standard)

100% would start him next weekend. Think I’d put him top of the list of fringe players and id keep him, certainly. But you’d have to see it as very last chance.

I think Tavares had played less minutes and deserves more mins than Jones. Especially when you consider If anything hes made a bigger Impact than Joned. Also being in his debut season.

Tavares is unorthodox, not robotic like most academy graduates. average ball control but great mobility, awareness, and imagination

Missed the game last night just saw the extended highlights. Jones was pivotal for the goal. Good to see such good linkup play with Jones, Tavares, O Hare and then Gyok with the finish. Great movement by o Hare
