This season we have been jinxed in the defensive area.

Can't remember a season where pretty much all our central defenders have been crocked.

If we're being honest we've been unlucky with Martin and Willis. Reda was never going to play more than half the season (he hadn't done so for the last 7-8 seasons), and we took a gamble on turner rehabilitating from injury, and we know he can be quite injury prone.

Turner gamble worked big time.

But he would have been recalled to Cardiff after the Oldham game early anyway.

As one of cardiffs centre backs went off injured the night before.

Hmm, if anything, our defensive crisis has highlighted our weaknesses in attack.

We can rarely come back from going a goal down, we can rarely capitalise on opposition mistakes, we have no bite or edge when key players are missing. This team is, at times, devastating, however there's no consistency and no ruthlessness to grab the game by the scruff and win it via a battle if need be.

Yeah he was worth the gamble. Unfortunately as good a player as Reda is, well all knew he would miss half a season. We should have signed another centre back in the summer.

Surely Aaron Martin should be back next week! Why don't we ever proper feedback on injured players! Why don't the reporters ever ask TM the right questions! Clarity on injuries one example. He's been out for a month now.

Hopefully Lorentszen fit too.

All Rammage's fault then. Come back Phillips all is forgiven the fans have found someone else to blame.

The last 10 games points tally is relegation form. To stick your head in the sand and pretend it's all going to go away is somewhat foolish.

The recent signings - including cole and Bigiamara - have changed the balance of the team and have proved to be poor decisions.

From memory, not sure either of them played much if at all vs , Donny, sheff, and Oldham. Which was the start of this horrible run.

Haven't got my head in the sand. Our points tally has been disappointing. However people's obsessions with individuals is misguided. It is a team game and individuals will make mistakes and lose for. Also new players deserve time to bed in. The real problem has been the last three games. I think that is down to who we haven't got in the squad rather than who is in the team.

Oddly the likes of Armstrong, Murphy, vincelot needed no time at all to "bed in"

Really? Some players do get off to a flyer, but are you suggesting every signing just dovetails straight into the setup otherwise they are useless? Those three joined us fully match fit though didn't they.

I am not sure Murphy has fully fitted in. Seems to play in fits and starts. But there is room to improve in loads of areas. However I am glad he is here and I hope we can develop him. There are a few players I hope we can develop. The whole side is in it infancy.
