I mean on hamer we haven’t replaced him and while torp was better still miles away from what hamer did both offensively and defensively.

In creatively, we’ve got two assists in four games. That’s concerning and not only that I can’t think of a time in the last game where a player set a player through.

No leaders today to get the troops going and looked like the team gave up in the last 10 minutes with no real urgency or passion.

Disagree with shape but all we’re going is passing it down the wings and trying to squeeze into the box or hoofing it forward.

Don't always agree with Gimoc but it’s getting concerning for a team who wanted to be up there to say it’s good we only kept Norwich to one goal.

last time I saw a thread by him Dave Boddy was sacked, the whole squad had died from the vaccine, we were going to start the season naked with Adi up top and the world was about to end cause *jet streams*

All in all, one of the more sane posters on here.

It’s pure over reaction.

Yes we have not started well. This is not new news for us in the championship under Robins.

The window has been a good one. The same approach and recruitment team that were lauded last year are being given dogs abuse now.

We do not lack creative players, nor height, pace, or power.

Our midfield will look different again when Sheaf is back.

I thought we were good for the most part in pre season with clear patterns of play and shape, the same could be said for Oxford at home in the league. Away we have been more disjointed.

We are still conceding far too many goals as a % of the shots on target.

If we are true to form we will slowly improve week on week for a few weeks now and come October some sides will start getting a good hiding.

It’s a long season, panicking now, turning on the players and staff is crazy. If we are within 6 points of they play offs come January then we rate in with a real shout again.

The off the field points are just speculation. On the field I think it’s an over reaction. Torp is the one who does worry me which means we are more reliant on Eccles and Sheaf than I’d like but to say we have no midfield is incorrect. Up front we have lots of talent that will click eventually. There are too many good players there for it not to. If I had to highlight the only issues I see it would be the form of Torp and a casual mindset in the Stoke game and today.

We're never going to replace Hamer, unless we spent £15m+.

He and Gyokeres were once in a generational players.

it’s the same front 3 as last season we started with so poor excuse

the form carrying on from last season is a massive worry

2 wins from 13 is a massive concern and showing lack of confidence as a result

How is Robins going to keep everyone happy? Got three strikers for one position and no real backup for the right wing spot? If we want Simms to start firing again can’t just keep dragging him off for nothing to change. So disjointed today with the changes.

Not sure who you can get. He was the best player in the division by miles. We've bought in Torp and Rudoni since. No matter how much you spend, you won't replace him.

Three strikers, two left wingers, one right winger and one CAM. Where’s the balance? Keep trying to shoehorn them all in and it isn’t working at all.

Put Sheaf in that side and Torp/Rudoni can do their actual job.

so all our reliance is now on a player who doesn’t manage 30 games a season

despite spending 15 mill this summer

you have settled that argument in one sentence there

The alternative was to sell Sheaf and gamble on replacing him. You'd have moaned if they sold him.

They haven't played together this season.

@Jimmy87 has confirmed that we tried to sign both a permanent and a loan midfielder this week . It fell through at the last minute. It happens at every club.
