Have you tried getting out of the pool? Might not be so cold and wet.

Currently in Colmar, France. Went for a run today and felt like I was pulling a caravan. 22c but felt like about 32c. They're complaining here and saying it's the coldest June in years.

The whole of the med is fucked as well.

It’s not been great for this time of year in Italy but it’s nothing compared to what the UK is like at the moment.

We were thinking to head in your direction and go to the lakes on this little road trip (got the dogs with us), but the weather has put us off. Some better temperatures coming up but loads of rain + storms as well. Probably going to u-turn to Germany and catch some random shite neutral games in the euros instead. The missus is thrilled.

If you look at all the red on the weather maps you’d think we are going to go up in a fireball. 25 is the new 30 if you believe the weather on the telly.

Probably when the jet stream moves north it'll end up getting toasty and we'll end up breaking records again.

Same in Portugal on the Silver Coast been 18-20 most days. Had over 2 inches of rain on Friday last week everywhere flooded. Locals saying they’ve not seen it this green in June before.

There’s been a lot more rain than normal for this time of time year but supposed to be lower 30s next week. It’s much needed after a week in England!

Our fruit and veg just isn't growing as it normally does because there is so little sun and warmth. Prepare yourselves for food shortages and inflation this winter.

24th June is regarded as Midsummer's Night (and the end of the English asparagus season). Solstice is 20th June this year and 21st June the longest day.

I'm not sure they will be that happy. The higher prices will do little to off-set the wasted expenditure for poor yield. On Clarkson's Farm, they are breaking down what everything costs, and their fertiliser cost alone is £78,000 this year!!

Fuck it. Weather now looking great this upcoming week so we're off to Desenzano del Garda, Italy. Then to Germany in time for next weekend's matches. @Sick Boy any good bar recommendations or must-do's you can suggest?

I don’t really go to the Lake all that often to be honest. Most of the bars and restaurants are pretty much the same in the town though. There’s ’British’ pub called Main Street if you fancy a decent beer.

If you’re up for driving a bit and want to sweeten the going to Germany part, I’d suggest taking her here - Un Luogo da Sogno | La Casa degli Spiriti you should be able to book online.
